Doesn't sound bad really, I'd try it out.

I like to make pao de quiejo then put more cheese on it and maybe a cold cut like salami or mortadella.
Waffles with melted mozzarella, tomatoes, oregano and a bit of mayo on it.
Marie cookies with mayo.
Onions and ketchup.

Never heard of the first dish, but you can't go wrong by putting extra cheese and cold cuts I'm sure. Second one sounds like something I'd like to try sometime. Marie cookies are insanely good, dunno if I'd attempt that combo. And the FOURTH.. My onion brother.. Ha.

I have never met anyone who snacks on onion like I do. Righteous.

I do the same thing. I just find myself getting "oldman" taste more often. I eat plates of pickled shit, with raw onions, olives, cheese, and horseradish or mustard. Goes good with beer.
I just get really disappointed with sweet food as a get older and want more savory flavors. It's not weird, OP.

Thank you, good to know I can relate to someone, I mean.. I knew I wasn't the ONLY one who did this, but to get a response from someone who does this specific thing is actually relieving. Ironically, I still have a real bad sweet tooth, but do prefer savory over sweet. How old are you if I may know?
