I just want to know if this is correct or not. Do I put fucking oil in the water or not?

Oil in the water does absolutely nothing. It's wrong in the sense that it's a waste.

Someone like Ramsey would know better than some random people on Youtube or 4chan. I mean it might be wholly unnecessary or marginal difference, but surely its there.

People can somehow think Ramsay is American? That's probably the worst insult he has ever gotten.

most of the oil ends up staying in the boiling water, not on the noodles. if you want to oil your noodles, you do it after.
>yuropoors crying about Americans at the drop of a hat
Wow it's just like /ck/
Italians are the worst food elitists on the planets
If an Italian is telling you that you're cooking something wrong, odds are you're better off just tuning them out and hoping they walk away before you die of old age

OP here, this. I just tried it with oil in the water, but I didn't oil after. Came out shit, I like my pasta slippery, should've oiled after draining.
It isn't going to ruin your pasta like most Italians would have you think but it is a waste of oil since it does fuck all.
How long are people leaving their cooked pasta that it needs to be lubricated to prevent sticking? I time my pasta so that I can stir it into the sauce as soon as it's cooked.
