What are your thoughts on carp?

Let me share my personal and probably the best carp recipe:
>go camping
>go fish
>get carp
>remove scales
>place on heated stone
>place carp on stone
>add diced onions, tomatoes, olive oil and herbs
>when the carp is cooked, toss it away and eat the stone

I think back in the days before refrigeration, people who did not live along a coast, but rather only had freshwater fish considered carp free food, when they couldn't get more delicious options.

But, now we can freeze and consume fish that doesn't taste like mud.
