I know for a fact that a restaurant I used to work at is posting fake reviews to boost their crappy ratings. Should I report those as violations?

Just post bad ones to balance it out

Well, I don't want to hurt the owners, but it really isn't fair to customers to misrepresent the quality of the place. I could easily put them out of business with what I know.

If you hate them enough, hell yeah, tell the world.

Please post more post-rock sister

I don't hate them at all. That's why I'm conflicted because what they posted was absolute bullshit.

Not really worth it, as within the decade the signal to noise ratio on review sites will render them all unimportant.

I see. They probably already know they got a shitty business going, they're just trying to hang on. Many restaurants do this.
Just let it go.
I'll leave a review on the restaurant if you'd like. I'm actually paid to even out unfair reviews. I use that income to help pay for my wife's son to go to private school.
