man I remember like 2 years ago before they really started whoring themselves out. back when they had that really short little intro with the rotating S or whatever and had their in-house guy making guitar tracks. even the videos were better then; it was just straight up, no frills, no shills, "here's a recipe and here's what it looks like" cooking.

Nowadays it just seems so forced. Ben isn't in his element anymore for a lot of videos and in some cases almost half the screen time is just like "omg here's other stuff we did visit our website and social media while jamie (who's still fat after all these years) and this random irish dude talk at you for at least a minute". like fuck man I don't want to see that shit.

once in a while I'll check out some recent stuff in hopes that they get back to basics but I always end up disappointed and begrudgingly confirming why I stopped following them
