Lets rank breakfasts /ck/
1. german breakfast
>>7989905
Only thing I would bother with there is the OJ and maybe the egg if it's hard boiled.
Superior American breakfast coming through.
>>7989994
Only sometimes on the weekends. Normally I just have a cup of coffee or don't eat at all.
There is nothing specifically German about bread, cold cuts, cheese, and soft boiled eggs.
>>7989905
More fucking condiments than actual food...
I guess that's why you guys are always so angry.
>>7989973
German breakfast: eggs, pork based meat, cheese, bread, orange juice & coffee
American breakfast: eggs, pork based meat, pancakes, orange juice & coffee. There may be cheese with the eggs depending on how they're prepared, and the ingredients of the bread & the pancakes are similar enough to make little difference at a macro level.
You basically have the same breakfast...
for a big traditional breakfast this is a Puerto Rican one, just add sweet porridge
>>7990105
Turkish breakfast is my favorite.
>>7990077
comfy/10
>>7990077
Are those battered shrimp? What meat's the cutlet?
Also, Polish breakfast
>>7990167
Meh.
Scrambled eggs with sausage are common, but I wonder who in Poland would fry potato pancakes for breakfast? Making them takes a lot of time, and dough would turn black over night.
Also scrambled eggs + salad is bizzare combination.
>>7990200
The salad's not usually a part of it. What do you mean potato pancakes take a long time?
>>7990213
Also, I couldn't find a good photo, but it usually also includes dark bread, cocoa and tea with jam. Cottage cheese and crunchy lard and pickle sandwiches are also common
Breakfast in developed countries from Japan to the US to Italy is probably much closer than we think for the average person the average day. Aside for some twists.
These breakfast platters showcase traditional fare that is generally eaten on weekends, special occasions, restaurants and hotels.
>>7990256
...i thought that was obvious and the point of the thread
>>7990213
Well, you have peel potatoes, grate them, add salt, and wait until water will come out.
In Poland there is generally no breakfast tradition, most people eat eggs, bread, cheese, cornflakes and food from yesterday's dinner.
And I have to mention that potato pancakes are not considered breakfast food in Poland.
>>7989994
These are once a week/two week breakfasts, unless you're super fat or do manual labor.
>>7990167
wpjerdole that looks great
>>7990270
You have a point, but it still doesn't take THAT long... I've had them for breakfast. Also, maybe they're not a breakfast food in your region but they are here in the southwest.

Corned beef hash with an egg or two on top
shit makes me diamonds and I always make it the morning after I do Reubens
breakfasts itt are enough to feed fucking somalia for a week, i usually just have a bowl of porridge with brown sugar. i live in new zealand so most people just have shitty weetbix or cornflakes
Cold chicken, broccoli, and rice from last night
4 eggs over easy and toast
Also Mex, but from a southern part.

>>7991930

is that fried banana ?
i have no idea how this would taste, would probably preffer with just banana and eggs
>>7991957
It's a mix of peas, jam, tomato sauce and sometimes cheese. And is a special type of fried banana, used in dishes likes this one or in some desserts.
>>7990315
Hawaiian?
>>7989994
German here. My breakfast looks mostly like OP every day if I have the time. So right now only on weekends...
1. French Breakfast

Russian breakfasts are pretty dope though.
>>7992464

I honestly think this is the most delicious combination of all time
>>7992428
Who the fuck put the butter on those? It's like they didn't even fucking try. I am literally triggered.
Always eat scrambled egg. Ive never had a sunny side up or over easy egg. Are they good?
>>7991872
This. Perfect breakfast.
In Viet Nam, pho is great for breakfast - you'll find a lot of stalls in the morning.
I prefer hu tieu in the morning though.
>>7992680

>>7992697
Every day without fail, but no pics unfortunately. Sorry.
I rank it 10/10
>>7992681

>>7989994
It depends but people generally grow out of poptarts once they turn 15
>>7989905
You should try having an actual breakfast instead of a plate of cholesterol
third or fourth best right here
>>7990167
those are fried plantains and pork cutlet.
>>7992888
second best is clearly the crab cake Benedict with a mimosa
>>7992912
but the GOAT breakfast, out of left fucking field is, of course, what else, a blueberry cheesecake ice cream in a hot waffle cone
>>7992681
>brown bread

Turkish breakfast is god tier.
All these posts about Mexican breakfast and no chilaquiles?

Your classic israeli breakfast, never disappoints.
>>7993037
So then this is just a regular food pics thread, only with food you happened to eat in the morning?
>>7992715
Why not just go to your local hawker center and get it for a few Ringgit cheaper?
>>7993072
no babe if I can have ice cream for breakfast I will

Norway
>>7989994
>do people seriously eat these kinds of breakfasts?
On Sundays yes.....9/10 times though waffles are superior to pancakes
>>7992861
>It depends but people generally grow out of Poptarts once they turn 15
No. I stopped when I was 12. I have a 32 year old roommate that still eats them but he is developmentally disabled and his parents pay his rent. Tempted to post a pic...

Where's the mayo? I've eaten breakfast in Germany on more than one occasion and a packet of mayo was never far away.
Germany has the worst food.
>>7991862
honestly can't fuck with longganisa, even when i was a kid, it'd give me these burps that tasted like absolute death
though I fuck with everything else.
Biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese.
>>7998487
>That unmelted cheese
>That tiny portion of eggs
Cringed desu mate
Canadian.
Maple-flavoured bacon with blueberry pancakes soaked in maple syrup and butter with a side of coffee. Nutella is just my GF's thing.
>>7999295
>bacon touching the syrup
Triggered.
English breakfast.
Traditionally also includes baked beans, tomato, black pudding and a side of toast with tea or coffee.
>>7999306
MFW it triggered me the first time it happened and then I realised that it actually improves the bacon.
>>7999308
Where are the four grilled half-tomatoes?
>>7999323

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natt%C5%8D
it's a highly polarizing dish in Japan thanks to its slimy texture and strong flavor. it's tough for me to put what it tastes like into words... hearty, kind of beany. those that don't like it use stronger and more specific language
>>7999790
Looks and sounds tasty
>>7999733
NUH UH
YOU LOOK SAD
Topical Ethiopian breakfast, hoverer there are completely different breakfasts also
Are most of you farm workers or just fat?
Irish breakfast is quite similar to the English breakfast, except with no beans and with white pudding as well as black. But that was already posted so I'll mix it up a bit here.
This is a breakfast roll, it's a full Irish in a baguette, one of the very few foods that is often actually superior at a petrol station.
Thing is like a silver bullet for hangovers. There was even a good song about them:

North American.
Pancakes and maple syrup are a thing of beauty but US > Canada because
Vermont makes better syrup than Quebec.
Do Latin countries like eggs more than the rest of the world or something?
>>7990315
that is the saddest goddamn meal i've ever seen.
Every morning I eat two tomatoes sliced in half, fried, salted and peppered, six mushrooms sliced in half, fried, salted and peppered, a third tin of baked beans fried with onions and seasoned with lemon myrtle, two eggs, two slices of wholemeal toast with butter and vegemite and two rashers of bacon.
I think that's probably the closest thing you'll get to an Australian Breakfast.
>>8000098
Marmite is better m8.
>>7991862
Bangued or Vigan, like some Lucban too
>>7989905
One time in Asia the hotel I stayed in served regular hot dogs as if they were breakfast sausage links. Almost started rioting.
Why are Asians so terrible at breakfast? They should just wake up at noon.
>>8000072
1. They're cheap
2. They're filling
3. You can cook them in many, many ways
4. They're cheap
