It tastes like pepsi
Why have people made such a big deal about it?
Nostalgia is one of the most malicious maladies of the 21st century especially

i like the design and i wanna try it at least once

This, mostly.
I just want to see what the hubbub is all about.
And then i'll buy another bottle to sell in a few weeks when it's no longer being stocked for $20. Baja blast bottles are already being sold for $10, for instance.

Pretty much this. Things were always somehow better before. Especially during the 90's it seems.
>>7952430
In theory it's a great idea
Taking unnecessary chemicals out of an already toxic drink may seem like lipstick on a pig
But it's a step in the right direction, better then a kick in the dick

I bought a bottle. It has 68g of sugar in it and in small print under the ingredients list it says partially produced by genetic engineering. Wat.
>>7952453
what's wrong with nostalgia?
Being an adult sucks - it's great going back to your childhood or younger years, when everything was new and happy and you had no cares
unless you had a rotten youth i suppose

>produced by genetic engineering
I'm going to guess one of the plants they extract oil from (such as an orange's peel) is genetically modified to produce more oil.

It could also be the plants used to create the sugar. Sugarcane or beets. Or corn, of course.

Because of kids born in the 90's rant & rave about MUH 90's and how they're such "90's kids!" when working men & woman didn't give two shits about these gimmicky products back then.
Seriously, it's annoying but it's a market that food and beverage companies are going to take full advantage of regardless of the fact that a lot of older products sucked ass back then and still do now.

I can't wait until they get around to being nostalgic about Josta.

because it lacks the terrible caramel color aftertaste
and because originally it lacked caffeine, meaning you could have it any time of day. my caffeine tolerance has plummeted down to 'more than 20 mg or so makes me nuts and risks diarrhea' since I turned 22 or so and my metabolism slowed down (as a kid I could easily just chug surge and be fine)

Apparenty, the original Crystal Pepsi also removed the caffeine along with the dye which made it taste less like Pepsi than the internal staff wanted but it's inventor shrugged off.

Quite frankly. I think removing coloring from soda is a good idea and if it does well Coca-Cola should introduce a Transparent Coke w/Sugar (though I don't know what that would do to Sprite).
Or they bring back Tab Clear .
