Brown rice is superior in both taste and nutritional value.
There's a reason why nips are manlets.

Brown rice has really grown on me. I didn't like it at first, but I forced myself to eat it every day for a week, and now I crave it. White rice is basically the Wonderbread of rice.
To answer OP's question, I like to add a Knorr stock cube. Dissolve it in water before adding it to the rice. I've heard a lot of people say they can cook white rice in a pot just fine, but brown rice never turns out right. Well, rice cookers make perfect brown rice every time.
If you decide to get a rice cooker, white rice takes 24-40 minutes to cook and brown rice takes 75-90 minutes. Plan accordingly.

nobody just eats fucking wheat
rice is easier to prepare
Add a cream of whatever and put it in the oven (Look up chicken with rice and cream). Tastes fucking amazing. Or just add any sauce to it like make your own sweet and sour, or a spicy korean sauce.
make it with broth instead of water
Put curry powder in the water
Cardamom pods, a bayleaf, a dash ground cumin, some butter and some sea salt. Throw some frozen peas and corn in to give it a sweet pop
