I like 'cha but I'm looking for something spicier. I tried Cholula today and it's not very hot at all.
Any recs for something very hot?

Only places I've seen Valentina's in my life have been this unassuming hole in the wall 24/7 diner and a similarly artless Mexican joint on the other side of town.

Literally sold at Walmart.
Valentinas, tapatia, cholula. All 3 can be found in most supermarkets. No heat whatsoever.

New Orleanian here. We know our hot sauces. Crystal hot sauce is my go to, especially on po boys and sandwiches. Tabasco is also acceptable, and I prefer it on my red beans. But it is definitely more vinegary. So it's a situational thing. I also like Sriracha on my eggs and pho. Cholula with the wooden top is also pretty good. I have a bunch of hot sauces, it depends on my mood.
But if I had to pick one hot sauce to bring with me to a desert island, Crystal.
