Why do they call this the cooking board??? Sure all the threads are about food, but very few are actually about cooking. Why not have a separate board for fast food/cured may/tendie discussions and one for people who actually cook their own food???

Because there isn't a need for it. We already have sufficient separation because everyone wants to be a special snowflake and not see things in "their" boards. Just look at how many fucking video game boards there are. Now go visit any of those, and you'll see that they're all equally shitty. There used to be a lot more cooking threads in here, but the mods themselves began fucking shit up banning people like the Pink Himalaya guy and allowing advertising/shill threads. Best solution is to filter out all the crap you don't want to see and just participate in threads you like.
