I don't think so, they're just little extra-frozen bits of ice cream. If I soften it and stir I can get most of them out, and they'll melt quickly in my mouth anyway, but they're still a wonky texture to have.

It happens occasionally with other flavors I've noticed, but coffee by far is the worst offender.

Oh i assumed by boogers you meant something firm but not solid, could be crystalized lactose but more than likely just improper storage so seed ice crystals melt a bit then re freeze larger.
