"Beef tea" is just another name for beef broth. You make it just like broth or stock:

if you don't give a fuck you buy instant (Bovril is the UK brand, Knorr or "Better than Bullion" is common in the US).

If you want to make it right you put beef bones, meat, and mirepoix in a pot and slowly simmer it.

I thought as much, I meant specifically with Bovril. Usually I spread it on some toast with butter but I'd heard mixing it into warm water was more common.
