when hot dogs, how to you heat the bread

I microwave them for 40 seconds.

I'll usually toast the bread for most other sandwhiches, but I make an exception for hotdog buns.

I steam them with steamer basket in a 4 qt. pot

I have a lid that has a handle that unscrews in the middle and leaves a large hole. I noticed if I remove the handle, I can let the steam escape and not drip back down on the buns. Works wonders.

if you are boiling your dogs, just steam them over the water.
if you are grilling them, just put them in the warming rack area to heat up.
if any other method, just toast them

Stick it on a plate under the heat lamp while you cook the sausage.

You got to steam them. Makes them warm and fluffy. Toasting just makes them crunchy and awful.

smush them into a toaster

put bread + hot dog in microwave for 30 seconds
