Rate this pancake. It's my first time cooking one.

The resemblance is uncanny
its ok but you can do better, the looks are also important
also, are you eating it by itself or are u adding some jam or w/e?
Looks like my bung piece
Did you flip it into a smaller pan so that the edges were hanging off the sides or something?

looks like a pancake cooked in a large pan on a small burner
next time use a smaller pan or a more careful hand in pouring

I just ate it with some cinnamon syrup and it was good! Nice and crispy on the sides. And really bro jam on Pancakes? I probably try that one day.
If you were attempting to make a Scotch pancake, you've done well.

You know what's up, I cooked it in a huge pan. Should I cook it in a cast iron pan next time?

>gives advice on pancakes
>puts jam on them

I wasn't attempting to make a 'scotch' pancake but thanks!

you can certainly use cast iron but only a proper slick surface one. not the unmilled $15 chinatown special. you can also get 6" non-stick pans which do the trick.
