Hello everyone. Today I'm eating some simply cooked parboiled long-grain rice again, which tastes great, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have a hard time at the toilet next time.

What are some vegetables/fruits(?) that can be eaten with rice? Do you have any recipes you like? What about salads?

And how do asians do it?

Maybe, you should drink more water.

Am Chinese.
My favourite is

The flavour complements rice perfectly but it's really salty. So in my family we pour warm/hot water over rice until it's barely submerged to eat them.

Sounds delicious. Also interestingly I just realized that there are some foods that are just not available at all in the west. Or at least in the part of europe I live in.

Bell peppers, brown onions, and green onions.

You can stir fry them along with the rice, some meat, some soy sauce, etc.

Gee, I don't know. Maybe... BEANS?

>parboiled rice
Slice some bell peppers, onions, and carrots VERY thinly, as finely as you can manage, then saute in olive oil until cooked. It takes some attention to prep, but it cooks really quickly and gets nice and sweet

lol you're back, did you ever try a different method?

if you want fiber then why are you eating white rice? most green veg have a ton of dietary fiber and literally anything goes with rice if things are seasoned properly

Beans of any kind
Stirfry with sliced squashes (any kind), kale, cabbage, cauliflower/broccoli florets, etc.

Your best bet is to forget about eating rice.

i destroyed my butt after taking up a diet rich in rice, even though I included lots of fiber in my diet.

Whole wheat bread is more nutritious than rice. Ditch the rice, eat bread.
