Smoked cod roe. Very popular among the Nordics... quite nutritious as well, but it's an aquired taste for sure. It comes in tubes, pic related. And yes, it's called "caviar", we have a different name for actual caviar.

Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909)
President Teddy Roosevelt was pretty set in his ways when it came to breakfast. He’d have hard-boiled eggs and homemade rolls. He insisted that the eggs be cooked until solid throughout. Medium or soft-boiled eggs wouldn’t cut it. As for the rolls, they had to be fresh and there had to be a lot of them. In the rare times that he’d deviate from his routine, it was usually in favor of hominy with butter and salt.

My spouse makes everyone breakfast, because I'm about the foulest non-morning person you've ever seen. (I cook lunch and dinner).
Anyway, usually it's 2 perfectly runny sunny side up eggs, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, and whole grain nut and seed toast. We alternate that with oatmeal with fruit. On the weekends, he'll make omelets for everyone, or sometimes french toast. And, he always makes us a pot of tea during the week, and espresso on the weekend, along with orange juice.
I don't have much of an appetite in the morning, usually coffee, a couple cigarettes and a hot shower get me going. Maybe a piece of buttered toast if I feel I need something solid on my stomach, I feel sluggish for the rest of the day if I eat much in the morning
Fresh ground coffee with a little skim milk, upon arriving at work I have a bag of petite carrots dipped in single serving garlic and humus to start my day and make it a couple hours then have an Amy's non dairy burrito with hot sauce and a glass of water and almost a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar as an elixir. You might think I'm fat but I'm 54, 5.11' and 183 lbs.

Jesus F. Christ. Maybe the scandies are purposefully letting themselves get cucked by the arabs because they simply cannot stand their own cuisine any longer.
A bowl of cereal, and chain two cups of coffee at work. On the weekends I have time to cook but I usually just do simple comfort food like oatmeal and fruit, biscuits and gravy, or sunny side up eggs and toast. Mostly drink herbal tea and destress.

They exist in many varieties, the standard striped is mixed with cream cheese. Then there is a striped that has eggs in it (for when you can't be arsed to cook eggs to put it on). There's also one with added dill. I prefer the plain one though, or the "gold" one, which is extra smoked.

What the fuck is wrong with everyone in here? A fucking steak? Eggs, reddit strips AND toast? Are you fucking kidding me? Do you lurch forward like a car in the morning before falling over sideways with cramps? Are you all obese?
A simple bowl of grains, corn flakes, bran, flaked wheat, with milk and maybe some coffee is more than enough of a starting meal for a reasonable adult, you fucking memes.
>but muh farmers and muh health mags say breakfast should be the biggest m-meal...
Are you a fucking farmer? Do you only have access to foods produced by your farm? No to both of those? Then stop using it as an excuse.

Do you lift? That's just a plate full of protein.
I'm having a ribeye for dinner myself, with fried onions, mushrooms and tomatoes, boiled new potatoes and peas, and a healthy dollop of hot horseradish sauce.
Breakfast was a pot of (disgusting, bitter) black coffee, an apple, a banana and a small cup of sunflower seeds.
At some point I'm gonna have to find a coffee thread to see where my "Planalto Malt Milk Chocolate" coffee went wrong. Before you say anything, it was a gift.
oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Sometimes I skip the scramble and eat it for lunch.
I actually like oatmeal now despite detesting it in my youth.
