We have a place called Tokyo that has hibachi steak but is primarily a sushi joint. They have Ramen there but it's just called spicy Ramen. I asked the guy what was in it and he said he doesn't even know. So when he asked the cooks, he told me it was just like a beef broth (no actual beef) with Sriracha, cumen powder, and mushrooms. Sad. I feel like I'll never be able to try authentic Ramen. Their miso soup also sucked. Flavorless.

I lived in fukuoka and the food there always seemed very afordable. on average things where a bit more expensive, restaurants where a bit cheaper. The main downside to japan is that legumes aren't as popular there so you will have trouble going beans and rice for basic poorfag eating. I wouldn't recommend moving to japan at any point and it's probably expensive in all other respects but the food is far from shit we have here like whole paycheck.
