So is this the "things not to do when you want good food shots?" thread?

I use a tripod, IR remote, SLR, and a telephoto lens to take photos of my food.

Just make it fill up the frame, nobody wants to see 100 pixels of chef boyardee in a mug and 1000000000 pixels of dirty kitchen.

I bet you don't even use DOP tomatoes.

Lighting makes a huge difference(Daytime is best). Also touch it up in Photoshop before you post it. Don't know how? Don't post food or learn to use it.
