fact is is that a raw steak like a medium or rare steak is just a fad....steaks taste much better well done if cooked correctly so you make all the fat crispy and outer layers crispy and its not chewy at all ..just melts in your mouth

Seriously though, get a medium steak the next time you go out to eat, ribeye, preferably. If you've tried it and prefer it well done, that's your preference, dude. Stick with it. But don't rule out medium if you've never had it or had it one time like, 5 years ago and didn't like it. Could've been the cow, quality of beef or chef. Spend more than you'd usually spend on a dinner; you'll taste the difference. I'll happily pay twice as much for a meal that tastes twice as nice.
