Can I interest you in some fine Indian food, /ck/?
sure, but i don't see any in your image
Looks bretty gud desu, though I'd appreciate a bit more texture on my plate.
>>7548341
Indian food is really hard to photograph.
>>7548356
My second plate had a bit less goop.
>>7548365
Did you intentionally grab the penis out of the chaffing dish?
>>7548363
Did they have a loo for you to go poo in?
I'm sorry I'll kill myself later for this post.
>>7548365
i need me some curry in my life right now
>>7548341
This incredible Indian place opened up five minutes away from me in LA. It's wonderful. Had samosas and curry coconut chicken, tandoori chicken with Naan bread last night.
shit was cash
You are what you eat, that's why they're brown people of colour
>>7548362
*I* know it's delicious and *you* know it's delicious, but if someone judged based only on appearance then yeah they would think it was disgusting
>>7548341
Curried goat is the best
Get it whenever you can
>>7548341
That food give me a strange urge to go out and start shitting the streets

Paneer looks too firm, daal too runny. God I hate Indian buffets. Just order food from a menu FFS.
>>7548341
I ate at an Indian joint last night.
Took like 7 shits today.
>>7549496
>hate Indian buffets
This.
I've been to plenty of solid Indian restaurants, but every time I've tried the buffet it's painfully mediocre in comparison to ordering off the regular menu.
>>7549522
I've only been to one and the variety is nice.
>>7549530
Quality > quantity.
And you usually order a bunch of dishes at an Indian place anyway.
>>7548356
That's actually pretty textured Indian food. I prefer mine more goopy
>>7549161
Especially that dahl. Looks awful, but I bet it's fantastic.
Man Naan is the best bread
>>7549604
I know there are decent buffets but any place that does a good buffet usually does better a la carte menu. Buffets are good for two things. Gluttony and taking your friends who don't know Indian food well.
England was where I first discovered naan.
Today I'm a fucking naanbender. Best bread.
Please enlighten me, what else should I learn to cook.
>>7548341
Looks great, my favourite cuisine.
>>7548341
jesus christ no wonder they shit in the street they can't make it to a toilet.
>MFW their whole culture resembles shit including what their food looks like
>>7549762
>Gluttony and taking your friends who don't know Indian food well.
This.
I go to the buffet at my local Indain/Paki places for these two reasons. If I am by myself at lunch time and I just want to mazimize my food to price ratio I go to the buffet, and also if I am with a friend/family member who hasn't had it before.
If I go to one of these places with a person I know really likes the food, I will just order from the normal menu.
Also does anybody else just love vegetarian Indian/Pakistani cuisine? The thing they do to cauliflower, spinach, and eggplant are unreal. Lentils and chickpeas too. I mean, I love meat, but almost all my favorite Indian/Pakistani dishes are vegetarian.
>>7549762
fuck indian buffets. the last time i went, i stuffed myself to the verge of puking. upon leaving the restaurant, I puked because the smell of curry wouldn't get off my coat.
>>7548341
Oh god man, keep that shit in the toilet.

Why is Indian food so difficult to cook? Every time I've tried, it doesnt compare to restaurant stuff at all
>>7550761
that's like really culturally insensitive for you to ask, okay?
>>7550725
What's the joke
>>7550769
Because timing. Many steps and a long time to cook each dish.
>>7550778
>As one who practises yoga
Pretty humorous, has nothing to do with the review.
Also, the fact that She went to an $9 buffet and expected anything but slop.
>>7550779
also upfront cost of spices. in terms of why you can't just cook Indian on a whim.
>>7548341
It looks like slop
OP's Indian looks pretty damn cafeteria. Indians also don't eat much meat to begin with.
Pic related is a meal in Bangalore for 60 inr, less than a buck usd. I can't say I've had any good meat dishes during my 6 month stay in India. I just don't like Indian food all that much. Good lassi is amazing though.

But for some reason Indian food in America just doesn't look right, It's nothing like what we have in the restaurants or take-aways here,
