>>7531329
I wish I lived there, I'm from Wisconsin but went out of my way to go there after seeing those dogs on man vs food
>>7531051
Of those I'm going to say Argentina, possibly also Vietnam as I'm going through a banh mi phase
New York, Carolina and Vietnam are the only ones I'd eat.
New York is the best.
>>7531051 (OP)
Whatever fuckbag made this infographic is wrong. This is a Japan dog.
>>7532811
Argentina "hot dog" has a chorizo instead of a sausage, does it even count as a hot dog?
Montreal is best but Chicago looks delicious too.
>>7531099
what bread is that
>>7531051
maryland native for 25 years
never heard of that and have no idea where to get that
>>7532847
>originated from BC
nah.
>>7532847
Looks pretty tasty desu
Coney, like a true American.
Japan, Philippines, Peru, Norway, those are not hot dogs, get the fuck out.
>>7531051
Anything with sauerkraut and mustard. You can't have a good dog without those two.
>>7532874
chorizo is a sausage you melt
>>7531051
A real Seattle dog, not whatever nonsense is in that picture.
>hot link with cream cheese and grilled onions
>>7533564
Is Norway real?

>>7533572
Wha
that meme as shit infographic is terrible
the best hot dog is a smokie with plenty yellow mustard and a tiny bit of ketchup, with some chopped onions
>>7532847
this is also an acceptable choice
My state borders Idaho. I've been there countless times and I have never seen whatever the fuck that abomination is. Food republic, you lying motherfuckers.
My two favorites are the coney and New York style.
Costco hot dog, deli mustard, sweet relish and onions. All a man needs in life.
>>7533667
Man needs sauerkraut.
>>7532900
looks like a bolillo, anon
>>7531051
Dodger
>>7531051
No standard British Hotdog????
What is this?
>>7531051
Atleast the Danish dog is accurate
>>7531051
Norway, hands down.
>>7533980
aren't some Scandinavian flatbreads potato based, i so i want to try this one
>>7533980

>>7533991
They're traditionally made from barley but nowadays it's mostly wheat. This is a Swedish flatbreadroll before it's rolled up.
>>7534003
Talk me through this.
I can see mashed potato and the sausages but the other ingredients look cold (lettuce, Ketchup, those brown bits and that pink stuff on top . . . . .whatever that is, please enlighten me).
Not quite sure a half cold hotdog is my thing!
>>7534020
I understand it's a weird concept since everything in America is either boiling hot or ice cold. But those "cold" ingredients like the lettuce are actually more like room temp. The pink stuff is a shrimpsalad thing we have here. The brown bits are roasted onion.
>>7531051
michigan or coney
>>7534020
Note that this is just a kind of "hot dog" and not our usual hot dog. In fact it's quite rare to see people ordering this. In my experience anyway.
>>7533980
When I was a kid I ate a couple of those on a holiday in Norway right before we drove around the mountains, never have I vomited so badly -10/10
>>7534029
>>7534034
I'm not American, I'm English and open to new things.
I'm Ok with all the other ingredients but the shrimp (or prawn as we call it) may be a bit conflicting and superfluous . .the sort of thing Americans do, to try an 'invent a new food'!
Without messing it up with prawns, I think will try this sometime but maybe using an easily obtained tortilla wrap??
>>7534041
Don't use a tortilla wrap, I imagine it will taste pretty bad. You need proper flatbread to do this. If you ever come across a Scandinavian shop or IKEA or something buy some flatbread and then try it. Otherwise just leave it be.
>>7534051
>Don't use a tortilla wrap
Oh . . . .Ok.
It's just that they are more easily available in the supermarkets here, that your flatbread. The nearest Ikea is about 30 miles from me ( I guess I'll ask somebody to get me some)
But the idea of mashed potato in a wrap has never occurred to me before, sounds good.
The normal British Hotdog is far simpler than OP's infographic. It just a split 'hotdog roll' with a frankfurter sausage, flash fried onions and ketchup!!!! . . .that's it. We do have American-style mustard here but it's a bit too sweet and Meh!
Doyer dog looks pretty tasty.
>>7534060
You can always do a simpler verson with an ordinary bun.
>>7534072
That's too messy and hard to eat. Looks American.
>>7531051
Czech hotdog is accurate.
>>7531153
Get out reddit.
>>7531051
New York is bretty gud, but Carolina minus the chili is GOAT.
>>7534076
You eat it with a bladed fork
Can't I just have a normal hot dog?
Coney, obviously.
>>7534003
>Sallad i en tunnbrödsrulle
Men för helvete Bosse
Coney
dodger no mustard or coney
>>7531051
Smoked sausage with butter fried onions and a bit of stone ground mustard.
>>7531051
just a good hot dog on a good bun, what the fuck do you need other stuff for?
the best hot dogs don't even need a bun but they're good to have so your hands don't get all greasy and/or wet
>>7531051
Carolina Dog for sure. Especialy with Mustard, Jalapenos and Sharp Cheddar cheese.
Damn I'm hungry.
>putting 'cha on your 't 'ogs
>the city of Us 12s
>>7533667
So basically a Dodger dog sans ketchup
>>7531051
They need to add a Bunnings snag from Australia.
>>7531051
Dog, Bun, Mustard, Onion, Relish
anything more is memeing
German
Sauerkraut and mustard are best sausage condiments, although I use bread rather than potato salad.
>>7531115
>stereotyping
It's uncommon ways to serve a hot dog more common in certain areas, not hot dogs which are always served as such in the designated area and the infograph does not present itself as anything else.
>>7532847
go back to hongcouver
>>7532847
>not even picking the best type
step up, senpai
Never had a potato dog. But now I want too
>>7534037
i don't know why but this made me lol hard
>Hot Dog on a Cloud
Seattle dogs are awesome. I know that cream cheese in a hot dog sounds weird as fuck but when you're buying that shit on Cap Hill at 2 am, fresh as fuck, you really can't beat it. It's pretty good.
I'm surprised they don't have SF dogs. Bacon wrapped hot dogs. They are terrible.
>>7536701
Oh wait, I guess bacon wrapped dogs are Memphis. Interesting.
>>7531051
There was also much sampling of pizza, Italian beef, giardiniera, and — Chicago being the largest Polish-populated city outside of Warsaw — a healthy dose of pierogies and paczki. But the one item she chose to make room for in her luggage on the return trip? A jar of the neon-green Chicago-style sweet relish that had adorned her hot dog.
God damn it, that's why they care some much about their hotdogs, because they are literally no ones?
I'm ashamed that I have polish blood in me.
>>7533579
Im from Norway and I've eaten it plenty of times. Shit is good.
Ketchup
Mustard
Relish
What's that called?
>>7533577
I feel like you typically get a choice of what kind of dog, but yeah, cream cheese and grilled onions all the way. I don't know where they get chopped cabbage from and jalapenos and sriracha are pretty much "add it yourself" condiments.
>>7536701
Yep. I've hit up the stand outside Neumos after the bars close a number of times. And the one out in Fremont by the High Dive.
>>7538303
basic bitch hotdog is what it's called
>>7532908
MD fag here, I assume you're talking about the Baltimore dog. I also have no idea.
