Whatever happened to apple jelly?
I left the US for 4 years, I come back, and I haven't seen a jar of it in a supermarket the entire time I've been back.
>>7494724
find a better supermarket
>>7494724
buy some pectin and unpasturized apple juice and make your own
>>7494724
I think everyone but you hated it.
I have a jar in my fridge right now. I use it for glazes.
>>7494724
Is it different to Jam?
>>7495301
Yeah, because it's jelly.
>>7494724
It still exists you plebe, I saw it on the shelves yesterday
>>7495301
>Is jelly different from jam?
>>7495568
That sounds similar to how we take the difference. Jam is here is the US but not as common. I personally prefer jam
>>7495590
What are you talking about? Jam is very common in the US.
Jelly is made with fruit juice. Jam is made with juice and flesh/skin/seeds of the fruit.
Both sometimes have additional pectin added if the fruit being used doesn't contain enough on its own.
What's the difference between jam and marmalade?
>>7495604
Marmalade is made with citrus peel.
>>7495606
No.
>>7495610
Sorry to set off your autism.
I'll revise my statement: Marmalade is traditionally made with citrus peel.
Does that make you feel better?
>>7495604
If only there were some sort of "engine" where one could type a question, such as "What's the difference between jam and marmalade?" and receive links to various websites which provide an answer.
>>7495600
This. I see jam all the time. We even get the French ones.
>>7495613
Yup, then we could shut down this board.
>>7495615
A search engine doesn't have nearly enough shitposting and autistic opinions to replace /ck/
>>7495600
I mean such as when you're at a restaurant. It always seemed to me there was a preference for jelly. Not to imply jam is harder to find
>>7495568
Jelly is fruit juice set with pectin. Jam is fruit paste set with pectin.
You could learn this in literally five seconds with google, but I guess that's asking too much of Bonglanders.
>>7495604
I can't marmalade my cock down your throat
>>7496144
i have applebutter
>>7495668
No colony, you are failing at the English language again.
>>7494724
people who like apple flavor realized apple butter is tons better
>>7494724
Muslims find it upsetting, so we got rid of it.
>>7495476
I can't jelly my foot up your ass.
I've never seen apple jelly in my life before. That actually sounds like the perfect match for a peanut butter and meme sandwich .
>>7494724
Send an e-mail or contact the company through social networks asking for local retailers. That's what I did after leaving France for 5 years and not being able to find pineapple syrup when I came back.
Never seen apple jelly, but I love apple butter.

When I lived in KSA I could never find grape jelly at the store so I used apple jelly. Just saying.
