How do you guys feel about chunks of solid chocolate in brownies?
>>
Vastly preferable to nuts.
>>
I feel good about that.
>>
>>7469307
Anyone who likes nuts in their brownies should be fucking shot. Stalin had the right idea when he put those fucks in gulags.
>>
>>7469325
Explain why you don't like nuts in brownies.

I knew Hitler had strong opinions about brownies, but Stalin is a new one on me.
>>
>>7469326
soggy after baking, nut flakes in your teeth
>>
>>7469325
its likely stalin ate nuts in his brownies, seeing how he wasnt a pansy fuck
>>
>>7469326
ruins the texture, especially with walnuts and pecans
>>
>>7469338
are those whities?
>>
>>7469345
I've usually heard them referred to as blondies
>>

Peanut butter chips are superior. Brownies are already chocolate, so I don't mind chocolate chunks if they aren't too large, but they don't add a lot either.

Actually, might be nice to have brownies that are very sweet but then add large chunks of semi-sweet chocolate for the melty consistency without being overly sweet.
>>
>>7469342
You're doing walnuts wrong if you're making them soggy
>>
>>7469820
I think walnuts and pecans are great in brownies. Its a nice change in texture. Chocolate chunks are welcome too.
>>
Id rather nuts in my chocolate than fruit near it
>>
>>7469345
Crackers.
>>
>>7469325
>Being this salty about nuts

Where did the mean man touch you?
>>
I prefer blondies to brownies
>>
>>7469823
The change in texture is great, but I also like how the slight bitterness of the nuts can balance out the sweetness of the brownie
>>
Speaking of brownies, what's the best way to make cannabutter? And is it true it doesn't matter if you use cheap weed?
>>
inb4 dude
>>
>>7470564
>And is it true it doesn't matter if you use cheap weed?

Cheap weed does work, but the stronger the weed the stronger the resulting edibles will be.
>>
I always nut in my brownies, the ladies can't resist them.
>>
>>7470597
Modulo the amount of weed and quality of extraction technique, yes.

You'll want to do multiple washes of the veg matter, straining out all the herb from whatever vehicle you use, oil or butter or alcohol.

The more weed you use and more extractions you do (2 or 3 max for most purposes) the stronger the product.
>>
>>7470631
What extraction technique(s) would you recommend?
>>
>>7470631
>alcohol
Elaborate
>>
>>7469302
is there a difference between a brownie and a fudge brownie?

but yeah chunks of chocolate are good and way better than nuts. nuts get stuck in teeth and there is that walnut aftertaste that fights with the richness of the chocolate

THC is alcohol soluble. That means you can extract the THC into alcohol the same way you do it into fat (butter).

>difference between a brownie and a fudge brownie?

Fudge brownine could mean one of two different things:

1) it contains chunks of fudge (like how some brownies contain chocolate chips or nuts)

2) it has a fudge-like texture, which is rather dense and chewy (as opposed to the cake-like texture of many brownies)

DUDE
WEED
LMAO
>>
Chocolate chunks make brownies sickeningly rich to me. They're best with walnuts, mitigates the sweetness and adds an interesting texture.

>>

walnuts. pretty much any other nut destroys the smooth mouthfeel of a nice brownie. walnuts are soft enough to give some texture and nutty flavor without ruining the rest of the brownie.
>>
>>7472978
Pecans are good.

When I was a pothead I just put the bud directly into the brownie mix. It was very stem but I got high AF. Way way way too high to function. There was about an oz of schwag in a 13x9 pan of brownies.
