I really do like most stone fruit- good plums like mirabelles, juicy cherries, and ripe peaches are all stellar- and melons are pretty great as well, but in my mind the true king of fruits is a perfectly ripe wild blackberry. People who have only had store bought blackberries have no idea, it's not even vaguely the same.
