Why don't you own a food processor as based as pic related?
>people pay thousands of dollars for this shit
Oh I'm laffin
I have it. It does wonders.
It cooks the a great classic Ragù in just 30 minutes instead of the 2 hours classic Italian recipe.
Every risotto I cook is delicious just like the Italian tradition.
For every Italian food lover I suggest to buy it.

never had the need for a food processor

What a ridiculous contraption...

I got the previous model, as a gift. I only use it sometimes and for very specific tasks like making dough or mashed potatoes in a pinch. Good for ice cream and jams too.

I was gonna buy it but considered it an unnecessarily expensive item. Then I had two separate episodes of phlebitis in two months so I'm buying it over the summer because what the hell I've got 300k in the bank and will probably die within 10 years so I might as well enjoy it.

i feel like you could cook BHO in that thing

Just for making praline paste I'd love to have one... my regular food processor wants to die everytime I do that.
But really, I don't make enough praline to be worth the 1k bill,

lol I read that as plebitis and thought "so that's what's wrong with the majority of this board"
your thing sounds serious, though. I hope you recover safely!

I'll be fine just as long as a blood clot doesn't get lodged in my lungs or brain, which'll turn me into a vegetable and then I'll die of hunger or thirst after lying on my apartment floor for a few days. The usual thing for those dying alone.

tfw literally $40 in the bank

I will gladly accept an e-transfer. I'm a charity case I'm sure it's tax deductible.
