Why not just call it "chili with beans" without needing to pigeonhole everything? It isn't feasible to give every conceivable combination of foods its own name to appease some spergs.

The core of the dish is the same. It's the exact same thing with an ingredient added, so it has the same name. I'd understand if you added something major, or removed a core ingredient, or changed the way it's cooked - something like that, something crucial to the dish. But adding something doesn't mean it isn't chili.

I doubt the recipe you use is the absolute original. If there were no variations allowed, there would be no such thing as chili competitions.

Think of it like this: if someone served you chili with the original recipe, with a side of beans, you still have chili, right? If you take those beans on your plate, and mix them into the chili, you have chili with beans mixed in, right? It's still fucking chili, it doesn't need it's own name and you aren't playing with any definitions. This should upset nobody.
