I make guacamole without using avocado.
It all depends on how strong each ingredient happens to be.
Taste your food and adjust the amounts accordingly.

You forgot some Tabasco or Frank's Red Hot.
Avocados....From Mexico
salt
pepper
garlic powder
lime just
cilantro
Green onion (sometime I grill them or saute them)
Tomatoes don't really add anything but it looks nice.

>Garlic powder evenly spreads the garlic flavor so you don't end up with a nice chunk of Garlic in your guac,
Just mince that shit and let the guac sit a bit before serving
Garlic and onion powder are some of the most usless spices around, the real thing is always better.

Avocado
red onion
Garlic
Cliantro
Lime juice/salt to taste
>>7375405
when i make guac i chop up white onion and some jalapenos and macerate the shit outta them with a mortar and pestle
then add some peeled and diced roma tomatoes salt cayenne and a little lime
then you cube up the avocado and add it to the rest to start mixing, which is best done by using a long fork and mushing the avocado cubes with the back of the fork while you mix
i love guacamole and torilla chips
Blacken the peppers and onions and tomatoes before adding them.
Tons of lime
be sure to activate the almonds
Avocado
Red Onion
Jalapeno
Cilantro (I'd hold it making it for myself because fuck that devil herb, but other people seem to like it)
Lime Juice
Salt
If you want you can add things like garlic, more peppers, tomato, but all of that is unnecessary.

My wife adds a bit of crumbled boiled eggs to the guacamole. Really opens up the flavor and still seems pretty authentic.
