what do you consider an artisan burger?

Any burger you have to break down because you can't even fit in your fucking mouth

Grass fed beef
Roll baked in house
Cheese name you can't pronounce
Bitter greens that have no business on a burger
Aioli
It costs 10-15 bucks without fries or a drink

There are a few places like this in my city. The burgers are great but the experience isn't worth doing all the time at that price. You shouldn't have to pay more than 10 bucks for a standard burger meal.

Why doesn't someone open an "artisan burger" place that serves normal sized burgers. Everyone i know has the same complaint about burgers in basically every restaurant. It turns into a big ordeal instead of a quick sandwich which its supposed to be.

They do, they're called sliders. They cost almost the same as a regular burger and will make you feel ripped off.
