Never had a beer before, what should be my first one? How do I become a part of the craft microbrew beer culture? Should I get one of these? I want to drink for the taste, not to get drunk. Thanks in advance, guys!

i recommend some matsos lychee, its a bit pricey but is a great start to your micro-brew craft culture collection of tastes
>what should be my first one?
DIPA is always a good choice. Look for words like "imperial" and "extreme" on the label. Anything below 10% ABV is low quality beer.
>How do I become a part of the craft microbrew beer culture?
Just remember it's 2016 and we have craft beer now, not normal beer. Craft beer has colorful labels, aggressive names, and aggressive innovative flavor combinations that go beyond the luddite crap that budweiser (a european company) try to market on us.
>Should I get one of these?
You should get at least 24 of those.
>I want to drink for the taste, not to get drunk.
What are you some kind of lightweight? Drink more, pray to the invisible skyfather less. The preachers have really done a number on your impressionable mind.

Go to your local beer shop, grab an empty 6-pack box, and grab whatever seems alright.
