Assuming we're at the mall I would always go Chinese, because it seems like these chains do a medium job making chinese food. Charleys cheese steaks are disgusting.

If we're talking about any other venue then the mall food court I would probably go with the cheese steak. A local deli nearby makes great cheese steaks with actual chopped steak and it is an outstanding cheese steak. I have a friend who often travels to philly and has had cheese steaks often there verify for me that the local deli does it as good or better than the infamous Pat or Ginos

Considering Chinese food in America is no less greasy and phony than any other international dish, it would depend entirely on my momentary preference. Chinese food in America is almost on par with Taco Bell.

The cheese steak is much more filling and it'll stay with you, but the chinese food is generally more satisfying for a short while.

I gotta go with the Philly. Add some peppers and mushrooms and you literally can't lose.
