Has anyone here had any success making a pizza, without a baking stone, that wasn't terrible?
I've got a bunch of dough left, and I just don't know what to do. It's always undercooked or burnt.

Sounds like your oven is too hot. Try turning down the heat and cooking for longer.
I've made plenty of pizza without a baking stone and they have all been pretty decent.

I've had success with Serious Eats' Neopolitan dough. Ten minutes on the highest oven temp and my pizza is done. I just put it on a normal baking pan.
I saw someone in a different thread putting the pizza on the bottom of the oven. Some of his pictures looked good but he said that he gets varying results.
