We just had a thread with a fair few people suffering. I'm unemployed enough that I can afford to just hobble around the house chugging water until it goes away. Rambling Man swears by sour cherry juice.

Just look up purine rich foods. It's basically all the good, savoury stuff, because it's linked to that taste.

Two words: Ginger Root.

Not saying that it'll cure you, but eating raw Ginger is a great anti-Inflammitory and a good anti-septic to help treat Gout.

No sausage, offal, red meats, cheese, butter, cream, high fat dairy in general, sweets, soda, sugar, white bread (pretty much anything tasty at a bakery), saturated fats, seafood etc. And don't get me started on vegetables. The most delicious ones, like asparagus, spinach, peas, cauliflower, etc or mushrooms.


So yeah, pretty much anything that tastes good. Get on allopurinol and try to lose weight.
