Like a minute or two at the most. I like sunny side but hate when whites are too runny. Just a little coverage helps that. I should probably have just had my head a smidgeon lower though and I would not have had to do so.

Ive made pancakes twice in a row where the taste has this awful aftertaste. Initial taste is fine but it just creeps. I use flour,sugar,vanilla extract,baking powder,baking soda,and an egg but what I really think is the problem is canola oil. I can smell in its bottle but I hear its suppose to have a 'neutral' taste. I only used it because I dont have vegetable oil on me.
tl;dr is canola oil advisable for pancakes? is something else possibly fucking with the taste? alternatives beyond just getting vegetable oil?
