If you were to describe each one like drinking a fine wine what would you say for each of them?
"I wish I'd bought two buck chuck."
>Too sweet too little acidity
>too sweet, too dry, too much acidity
guess which is which
"I'd rather be sober."
>>7254547
I'd throw them both in the trash and get a cream soda, the only decent tasting pop.
>>7254597
>Pepsi
>Coke
>>7254597
sweet and dry are mutually exclusive
>>7254605
wew lad

I like carbonation, and Coca Cola seems to have the most of all the Colas I've tried. I think it has more to do with their success than people give it credit for. It's the reason people think Pepsi tastes too sweet.
>>7254824
No they aren't you fucking idiot.
>>7254845
When tasting whine, yes they are.
Get some culture.
>>7254838
I completely agree. I actually prefer pepsi purely due to this.
>>7254824
Coca Cola found a way to combine them
>>7254850
Good thing were discussing pop
I think Pepsi has a more watery and over carbonated mouth feel, coke is more balanced, it has an almost syrupy texture and the carbonation seems more balanced.
I'm in Australia though and I think a different recipe is used here for both beverages.

Yeah in america I find it to be the opposite. Pepsi is sweeter, good carbonation level, not too acidic
Coke is more carbonated and very acidic. Don't like it

> go to wine shop
> try to look for this white wine I had last night at a bar, and quite enjoyed
> clerk asks if xe can help
> "yeah, I'm looking for this sweet dy white wine"
> clerk gives me the dirtiest look ever
> realize my mistake
> let out a whimper and sprint out of the shop with my tail in between my legs
Never again.
>>7256803
>go to wine shop
>ask clerk for a nice peanut nore
>watch them have an aneurysm
>>7254547
Mm, yes. Pepsi seems to have quite a fresh, clean swallow. Coca-cola however, very harsh, extremely and perhaps overly sugary, there is no refreshing finish. Mm yes indeed.
>>7254850
>get some culture
you're like 22, shut the fuck up.
>>7256811
>pie not griggy-o
>>7254597
this is actually the best so far.
Coke: Bright nose with hints of caramel and toasted cinnamon, pin-sharp acidity bursts on the tongue and gives way to crisp apple and citrus tang given depth by subtle vanilla and honey undertones. A long, slightly astringent apple peel finish keeps each glass refreshing.
Pepsi: Rich, sweet nose hinting at baked pineapple and cherry blossom, a creamy blanket of bubbles cut with sherbet and citrus peel, notes of pineberry. A comforting finish that leaves the memory of ice cream on the tongue.

appearance: dark brown molasses color, no sediment, carbonation appropriate for style (high), no signs of contamination/oxidation
aroma: dominant caramel tones, noticeable spice additions (vanilla, cinnamon) and some background citrus fruit aromas (lemon, lime)
taste: full bodied, significant residual sugar. lingering sweetness on palate. light acidity.
overall impression: cloyingly sweet. would appreciate some hop bitterness and a lower mash temp to increase fermentable sugars. likely a stalled fermentation/underattenuation issue.
rating: 15/50
Now rate them as if you were on beer advocate
>describing a wine as anything other than eh I this ones pretty good
>I dont really like this one
>>7257831
Neither of them are hoppy enough for me
>being this insecure about wine
>>7254597
>too dry
that one is Coke for sure.
"MY DIABETES, FUCK."
>>7254547
one has a rounder, sweeter flavor
the other has a more acidic bite, with subtle tones of nutmeg and citrus
