Happy New Year everyone.
I got a dutch oven for christmas and it's great.
I've made Osso Bucco and cheese fondue so far, next in my list is gulash, chili and some cinamon rolls.
Who else /ck/ast iron here?
how did you make fondue with it and do you mind sharing the recipe?
Pic related, my Osso Bucco.

Well the cheese mix was ready to eat, so no recipe here, but it contained several cheeses, wine, potato starch and cherry schnaps.
The dutch oven sat in a Weber charcoal kettle for convinience and i used an alcohol burner to heat up the pot.
The alcohol burner emitted just the right ammount of heat, took about 45 minutes to melt 2.5kg cheese with tempereatures around 0 degrees celsius in our back yard.
We were 5 people and had almost nothing left after about 1.5 hours.
Cleaning wasn't hard, but a little time consuming. I boiled some water in the dutch oven and scraped the hard residue off.
The rest came off with a steel sponge.
This is the little alcohol burner.

we had the coop bio fondue mix with additional gorgonzola and a load of garlic yesterday. I also added some natriumcitrat, it eases digestion.

Yeah, i heard that one too, but i didn't bother to buy any.
We eased our digestion with 9 bottles of dry Cuvée Blanc.
