There's this fancy grill restaurant some 200-300 meters near the Sony Center

They sell great beer at Möbel Olfe. Many of them are Polish imports and quite cheap.
For actual food, I like to eat at the Hackescher Markt. Lots of nice places there and something for everyone's taste.

Berlin is really full of good places to eat.

Always had good pretty cheap food when I was in Berlin. We stayed in Kreuzberg, so there were tons of places around. I really liked the chicken rotisseries on the street, although those might not be open in December.
