ITT - the best bourbon
>>7160187
its decent, too sweet tasting for me though. In the same price range I'd rather have knob creek or buffalo trace
>>7160187
But that's not Bulleit. Maker's is still goood though.
>>7160187
LOL
Makers is literally only good for mixing because of its neutrality. Making an OF is good with Maker's but actually just enjoying a glass of bourbon? That's Basil, Bulleitt, or Woodford.

Forty creek is my go to when I have the $. Other than that it's VO and diet coke
>>7161006
Forty creek ain't bourbon nigga
Evan Williams tbqph
>>7161013
It's a whiskey, yes. I just like it a lot. It's so smooth that it reminds me of a bourbon I guess..idk.
>>7160187
>not having all the ambassador accessories
baka desu senpai
>>7160187
Not even the best cheap one, that would be turk 101.
Best depends on wallet and experience. I haven't met an expensive one I haven't liked.
>>7160545
where do you live that knob creek is ~$25
in my area it's ~$35 and at that point you might as well buy woodford
>>7161056
not that guy but I'm in socal and costco has 1.75L of knob for $32.99. woodford is $27 for a 750ml there. But that's costco so it's not normal pricing
>>7161090
I'm a little jelly
that's what 750ml of knob creek costs here and ~$30/750ml whiskey it isn't.
I know that its loaded with marketing bullshit, but I think Devil's Cut is a nice "sippin" whisky. Probably overpriced for the quality tho, but fuck it, I like it.
try pic related. 35 USD in California
re-boot.
I bought a bottle of Knob Creek here in Australia for 100 bucks last week.
I feel slightly ripped off.
RRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Four Roses, small batch

Four Roses Single Barrel
>snobby, but damn good
>>7161398
>knob creek
>100 bucks
so glad i don't live in straya m9
>>7161398
Kek. I pay 18$ USD here.
>>7160545
Bourbon is supposed to be sweet, thats why it exists as a whiskey variant
>>7161398
About $45 in Canada
Honestly im a fan of wild turkey.
I know its not some vintage but for some reason i can pour a glass and just have it without having to explain it. With nicer ryes/whiskeys/burbons/scotches i always have to explain it. Maybe thats me only? Any one have a drink like that?
contender for best bourbon under $25
>>7161006
VO aint Bourbon faggot
>>7161540

I'm a fan of Blanton's.
I've had some Pappy and it was fantastic, but fuck a thousand dollary-doos for a bottle of that.
>>7161660
This anon gets it
>>7162455
Blanton's is great. I got a bottle of Woodford yesterday.
>>7160187
