Can we have an indian cooking thread? Facorite recipes? I love indian food and making it at home is so easy! I'm still pretty new, anyone have any tips? Pic is tonight's grub, rajma curry. Beans.

Made chana aloo masala and dry gobi curry tonight. Where does your cooking lean? I'm an American, but primarily informed by Punjabi cooking.

I guess I lean towards Gujarati. But I can't emphasize my newness enough, saying I have a preference is even pushing it.

Anything curried.
This lady has a bunch of recipes and her accent is kinda cute. I like when she says "tableyspoon".

Lol you read my mind about tablespoons. I made her chickpea curry. It was actually pretty meh though. Mostly it all looks good though.

My office has a fairly decent kitchen. I used to make Indian food, but the owner complained about the smell. I told him not to worry because everyone would think the smell was from the restaurant next door.

After that, he banned me from cooking Indian food in the office kitchen.

Heh. My office kitchen has two microwaves and a sink. There's a guy who microwaves raw chicken breasts there.

We have a decent electric stove, a double sink, two refrigerators, two freezers, counters, shelves, a good sized pantry, and a nice table to eat on. It's easily the best equipped office kitchen of anywhere I've ever worked.

Ive never made Indian food before until now. I followed this recipe with a few deviations and holy shit it tastes so great (add chicken stock, more cayenne pep and spicy peppers)
