Don't doubt the broasted chicken, it was inplausibly ghoodt. So Fryeth Scottie, Praise be upon Him.

>>7111182
Already ate broasted chicken, making soup stock with my 3 piece meal bones (two thighs and a breast!) It came with a side of french fries in a little white box

>walk into broasted chicken place
>walk to cashier and order 3 pc. broasted chicken meal
>waitress gets excited
>says it'll be 15-20 min but she'll have to ask the kitchen if they can
>she walks three feet and says "can you make some broasted chicken?"
>fryman sez "yea."

cont.?
>>
>>7111230

broasting is only possible with a broaster, which is a pressure fryer that makes less greezy chicken than a deep frier

it's breddy gud but I wouldn't turn the wheel if i saw the sign
>>
Dropping my second and last pic of sign. I just thought it was a meme. I didn't know. I just didn't know.

>cont.
>cashier turns to me and sez "that'll be $8.95"
>tip 1.05 since I'm take-out
>walk out to the car with my chicken schedule confirmed
>watch people coming in to lunch.
>watch 7 teenagers walk in at the same time.
>watch a telephone lineman pull up and fail at parking
>the call of the broast is strong
>beat the lunch rush, feelsgoodman.jpg
>collect my chicken treasure
>everybody wants their broasted goodness.
>but this one is mine
>drive to local park to enjoy the view
>eat potatoes first, nothing special
>chicken too hot, fresh from broasting
>Pull apart the breast and start crunching on fried ribcage
>awholenewworld.jpg
>rip into chicken
>chicken meat stays with skin
>skin also fried
>doesn't fall off
>perfect fried to meat ratio for every bite
>best. fried. chicken. ever.
>seriously, dankest chicken of my life
>apply wet naps
>drive back to highway
>drive to my home far away
>probably never eat broasted chicken again.

Because it is a patented, marketed and licensed preparation method. You literally have to pay for the equipment, pay licensing fees to sell the food, and get certified to cook it.

There are a lot of other companies that pressure fry their chicken in a slightly different manner with slightly different equipment so it isnt a violation of trademark or patent, but it isn't technically "Broasting" either. But it is cheaper because you don't have to fucking license your chicken.
>>
>>7111751
>Because it is a patented, marketed and licensed preparation method

the patent office was a mistake
>>
>>7111176
This thread makes me happy.

I am curious though, where is this particular restaurant located?
>>
>>7111751

>>
>>7112733
I just looked it up: Forest Grove, OR. About 40 minutes outside of Portland.
>>
>>7112763
>>7112733
OP, can confirm. Stopped in Hillsboro for some business and then needed to kill 4 hours in Forest Grove because reasons so I decided to broast it up before I drove home.

It was a good decision.

Ehh apparently it's easier to just open a non-franchise like our main man Scottie and then license the broast chicken process. Unlike a normal franchiser system broasting doesn't incur ongoing royalty costs.
