I'm sad Bodyline doesn't have this costume on their US site anymore. Any ideas how I can get it?
>>9608910
It isn't on cosmates either, I'm doomed aren't I?
>>9608910
it's on rakuten, reverse image search is your friend
>>9608827
At least that's Daiso, so we'll get some of it in their US shops.
>>9608922
I know it is on Rakuten, can I order through the Japanese rakuten?
>>9608930
>Be on east coast
>no Daiso anywhere
:(
>>9608931
>>9608931
I think you'll need a shopping service or forwarding service to that, you can only order directly on rakuten through the international site not the japanese one.
>>9608936
>>9608932
Thank you anon! I saw in the archives that you used to be able to email Bodyline if you wanted something that was out of stock on the international site but in stock in Rakuten. I doubt that is the case anymore though.
>>9608798
Thanks mate. Guess I'll wear one of my coords and just take the plunge while I can since Halloween is the one day you can get away with it. I'll just claim I'm a princess or something depending on if I go sweet or not.

why is 90% of the posts literal costumes in a bag? some new idiot ruined this thread.
>>9609042
I posted the majorly of the images on this thread, as well as creating and contributing to probably 95% of the last thread. If you do not like what is being contributed, then find your own images and share them. All of the costume images I found are from Rakuten and j thought they were cute and related enough to be on topic for this thread.

I'm salty europe/murica isn't into cute culture like japan. Fuck these unkawaii continents

An outsiders observation about Halloween in Japan: It seems like Halloween in Japan is much less about being scared and more about celebrating the holiday for the sake of the holiday. There are a lot more costumes and accesories that revolve directly around Halloween itself (like dressing up as a cute pumpkin like >>9609254 or a Halloween themed maid like >>9608944) wereas in America its all about dressing like a specific character, getting scared, and getting drunk*. Halloween in Japan reminds me much more of the Halloween of my childhood, since its cuter and less threatening. Seems more fun? Since trick or treating isn't really a thing there, they celebrate it all month long with cute merch and food.
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday but growing up, Halloween started to mean less and less to me, until I realized I don't have to celebrate it like everyone else does.
*Not that drinking and clubbing isn't a huge thing in Japan.

>>9609712
I'm salty my European country isn't into Halloween at all. The only people I've ever known to celebrate it are goths, lolitas and students who just use it as an excuse to party and get drunk. Goths basically dress the same as usual, lolitas either wear the latest Halloween print or plop on a witch hat, and the most involved student costume I've ever seen on my campus was when a girl wrapped her otherwise half naked self in masking tape to be a "sexy mummy". I guess it's because we already have a different costume holiday in early spring but that is more focused on being silly (and getting drunk) than on spoopiness. At least I have the internet to vicariously live through others...

This is really cute, but I get kinda sad looking at the left girl

Anyone know where to buy cute Japanese Halloween costumes? I like the general feel of some of Bodyline's stuff, but I didn't like anything in specific enough to buy. I like how their costumes tend to be more cute than sexy.

Rakuten has a whole section of Halloween costumes until the "hobbies" section. You can also shop japanese costume brands on Cosmates.

Could any one offer some critiq? I was invited to a halloween tea party at my local angelic pretty and I'm trying to put together my first halloween coord. Im not sure about the hat yet. I already own the bag (bought it today) so I really want to go for some kind of ghost theme.
Anyone know of any cool indie brands/small shops/etsy shops anything else doing nice Halloween accessories ?

I'm Your Present on etsy always has cute Halloween laser cut jewelry and clothing.

I think it looks cute, but I'm not a lolita. The shoes look more off white than the other items though so maybe change that?
>>9611060
Maybe change the shoes to black? It would keep with the black and white theme better.
>>9611568
I like I'm Your Presents designs, but as a warning to others all of the jewelry I've bought from them fell apart from less than a wk of use.
The chains they use are so weak.
However, the bows & shirts I've bought have all stood up to time.
>>9611060
I'd say white shoes to make it look like you're floating

Im working on a Harry Potter/Witch Coord for a harry potter festival in october.
Im just waiting green and silver Headress from cc to pin to my witch hat, and it should be done.
This coord has been 2 years in the making, trying to track down a specific attp hat.
>>9613373
>>9613385
That's some hardcore dedication!
>>9613385
May I ask which hat it was?
doest anyone have any cute witch hat tutorials/methods? I have some left over velvet and wanted to make myself one of those cute witch hats with droopy lace
There was one on taobao I wanted, but it won't come in time
>>9614015
Which hat? More like WITCH hat. HONHONHON.
Anyway, it was the 2014 witch hat inblack.
https://lolibrary.org/items/aatp-witch-hat-2014
And it's this headdress
https://lolibrary.org/items/meta-vaned-raschel-lace-round-headdress
Though I'm just using it to add a little more OOMPH to the hat and balance out the slytherin colors more.
>>9614045
Excellent choice in sorting hats.
>>9614077
Thanks! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Someone listed it on LM for $120 last month or so, so I snatched it up as soon as it was listed.
I hadn't seen it listed second hand in a while, and I knew a few other gulls wanted it.
I'm really excited to wear it this october with the whole coord.
Wish the purse was better, but it still matches. (I have the owl post purse from hot topic, but the skirt has the letters in the print, so)

Where do people keep finding cute witch hats? All I can ever find are cheap crappy ones you'd expect to see at a costume shop.
>>9616892
Taobao
>>9610339
How do people feel about coords like this that make an unrelated print witch themed?
I like it personally
>>9616892
Cutie Creator on Taobao makes a bunch.
>>9617004
I like it; colours are balanced (could have done without the unnatural wig, but it's ok colour-wise).
If she went for Sweet Witch: mission accomplished.
>>9617004
It's unrelated to witches but it's a candy print so it is related to Halloween in one way or another, it definitely works.
>>9616892
Not necessarily "cute" but I bought a hat from Evercrumbly and Witch last year and its stunning. If any gothic or classic lolitas are looking for an investment piece I highly reccomend
