Yo! That was a decent Kita. Saturday night was FUCKING CUHRAYZEE. Everyone was so generous with their booze. Classic chillin on the steps mixed with meeting new friends and old ones.

Felt like dog shit for the entirety of Sunday, but the 4chan crew kept me company, which was swell of them. Still can't believe I met someone who visits /ck/

But man, it's crazy how poorly run Kita is. That games room was a fucking joke. So many events ran late, even the fan run stuff suffered. I went to the Red Dwarf panel, the guy running it was really nice and enthusiastic, but damn it felt so much like he was winging it. How hard would it have been for the Kita staff to get someone experienced in running panels to sit with him for 15 min and give him some basic pointers?

I definitely felt like this on the Sunday, it sucks! I wouldn't say people at Kita are unfriendly, but it's obvious a lot of people are socially anxious and reluctant to interact with strangers. It doesn't help that Kita doesn't have any fun ice breaker events.

Like how hard would it be to say "Want to play some board games with strangers? Turn up to the games room at 3pm for special ice breaker hour"
