This is what the customs website says for the US. I grew up in America and item weight has never had much to do with customs fees, it's the package value that does. Usually items are subject to fees if they exceed $200 or something similar. The screenshot provided is if it goes beyond that price point.

I bought this 26" luggage (cherry love) back in June for vacation in July so I held off on posting to see how it managed on the flight and it did surprisingly well. They were having a sale, which I think is still going on, that they give you a free (originally $30) plastic cover with the luggage you order. I used it as checked luggage obviously and the cover protected it perfectly for the flight there and back. It's really sturdy, the handles are really strong, and the wheels haven't worn down at all.

This was my second purchase directly through Taobao and it went really smoothly. All together it came out to about $150 which is a lot less than I thought I was going to spend. All in all I really like it! I'm thinking about getting another one for longer trips in the future.

See, I saw that too and my package is going to technically be over $200 due to normal SS fees, but the items on their own are about $180. By what they say, I "should" be fine if the package is valued between $100-$800 but only if it's sent as a gift or as some other vague classification that it's not a gift.

If it's not considered a gift it's considered an import, and the customs slip on your package will say what the item values are. If it's under $200 then don't worry about it since most places don't include the price of shipping in the claim because you're only supposed to claim items inside of the actual package.

My previous package I got from them had a rough travel to get to me.
I'm convinced they lost an item in my order since it didn't come with the swimsuit I ordered.
Then my package got rejected by customs and TBT didn't attempt at all to figure where it was at(despite it saying on the tracker it needed picked up).

I got a size 38 (I'm a size 7) because I heard reviews in the past of angelic imprint shoes running smaller, however these fit like a true size 38 so it's a bit loose on me, especially around the ankles. They gave me a couple of insoles, the shoes are comfortable without though. Great quality, the pleather isn't shiny, but the bow is attached a bit loosely.

Beautiful blouse. I originally went for the pearl buttons version but it was out of stock, so I tried the other version that has clear rose buttons, that was in stock. they're fine, a little hard to button, but the blouse sits perfectly (it came with an extra button and waist ties that I really don't need), fabric is thick so it's not too see-through, satin bow is detachable and the lace is nice and soft. I have wide swimmer's arms but the sleeves fit fine.

This skirt is really cute. the print is very pixelated, which I already expected since I read the reviews, but it's still a very cute casual skirt. It has some really nice white lace, and chiffon ruffles attached to the lining. Came with a long chiffon belt that fit into the loops on the fully elastic waistband.

As for the dress, I don't usually wear underbust dresses since it doesn't look good on my figure, but I bought this for the materials. The print itself is nice and sharp (but looks very anime), The black lace is soft (the golden one isn't), and the peal chain has a cute clam and pearl charm in the middle, which was a nice surprise. The back ribbon is sewn to the side seams, and cannot be removed. Back is shirred, the straps length can be adjusted, but on the front, they're sewn a little too close to each other (my bra straps sit where the red arrows are). Overall looks like even though the measurements fit my size, it's really meant for a smaller girl. Still, a great fixer-upper for me, considering the price.

Dress is beautiful. The print is crisp, the colours are vivid. The material is a faintly sparkly chiffon and is lined. The armholes are a little tight because of the pearl chains on them but I have larger than usual arms so that's to be expected. It's was a bit on the expensive side of taobao dresses but again, that's to be expected for a lot of small lolita shops. The details make up for it; there's at least four different kinds of lace and each one is beautiful. I would say don't buy it if you hate ricrac lace though because there's a little bit of the gold kind on the big ribbon.

Purchased this wig from Dreamholic. It's a bit lighter than in this photo. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed. Bangs are not nearly as nice as in the photo, instead of having a nice bump they sit very flat like most other taobao wigs I've purchased. The fibres look natural, at least, and do have a nice colour blend, but again at the bangs the wig's a little thin and if I didn't comb it carefully my wig cap could be seen. The curls also weren't that well balanced- One side of the wig had nice curls and the other side was crushed. Not sure I'd buy from them again.

I like these a lot. On the higher end of taobao shoe prices but they're nice. Padding isn't bad and they pretty much look exactly like the stock photo, with a nice holo pink to sax. They also light up, which was a pleasant surprise.

Choker is fine. There's nothing really wrong with it, but it's a cheap choker. Quality is similar to something you'd get at a fast fashion retailer. Pic related, if you put it next to a brand choker (that one's AP) it definitely doesn't look as nice. But considering it cost $3-4, it's definitely worth the money and it's very cute on.

That hat I'm absolutely in love with. It looks exactly like the picture. It got pretty smushed in the box but it bounced back surprisingly well, you wouldn't be able to tell how packed in it was. Sweet Dreamer ships it with rigid plastic inside to help it hold its shape but the straw feels really thick and nice so I feel like even without that it would've been ok. Most of the details are glued down but I picked at them as an experiment and it doesn't feel like they're going anywhere. There's so many little details on it, I'm so excited to coord with it. Kind of want to go back and order the matching gloves.

Can anyone make any sense of Yoybuys promotion?
From what I understand ordering over 120$ gets you two coupons, one for 6$ and one for 12$
Ordering over 40$ gets you one coupon for 6$

You may not find them by a tag but the pricerange as design art concept previews have them usually unrealistic high so nobody buys them, so I set the minimum price to 8000.

I just wanted to double check the sizing for this underwear. I think it says suitable for hip circumference 75-95cm, but I'm not exactly sure where to measure that. I've measured where I think it is on my body - at the sharp edge of my hips where they broaden out from my waist, and that measures 81cm around. Would these be suitable? I know they're cheap, I just feel bad if I buy something then it turns out to not fit.

I'm not sure which wig you meant anon but I reviewed the lolita wig already so I went with the green wig.

Pretty typical 20$ cosplay wig. The fibres are pleasantly soft and brushable. They are a little shiny in bright sunlight but in indoor light the shine is minimal. The bangs are uncut and very long so that's a bit of an annoyance to deal with, but the stock photo showed them uncut so it's not altogether surprising.

The top was nicely wefted, which is good. It is a circle part. My only gripe is the back is a little thin but again, I've found that's the case with most layered cosplay wigs. I don't think it'll be too big of an issue when I wear it.

It is quite dark for a Gumi wig, which is what I was going for. If you prefer a bright green wig for your Gumi I'd advise against this one, it's a darker version.

One thing I did like is I didn't have any shedding problems with it, unlike a L-email wig I once ordered for another cosplay.

For only one or two things I rather not get involved with an SS. I know taobao resellers are generally frowned upon but what reseller would be ideal for 1-2 dresses?
