The hair is glued straight onto foam which you can see through the hair, sharpie guidelines and all. With the frizz on the bottom right, the fact that it hangs vertically on the left middle, and how flat the ends are cut, it just looks like they rushed it and gave up.

She has the right idea, but the base foam shouldn't be so apparent. The bangs should be cut and styled normally without the foam, and all of her hair needs to flow forward, not down, and leave some sticking out the ends instead of ending with the foam.

That visible inside is really distracting though and the hair meeting halfway down at right angles reminds me of a kid's colouring project where they started colouring in the opposite direction halfway through. Meeting point between the bangs and rest of the hair alsp looks like some sort of weird plastic headscarf more than any sort of hairline, again partly because of the abrupt angle change but also the thick and wobbly line of the foam isnt helping. Woukdve been a good idea in theory but definitely not executed as well.

The eye thing she did with the triangle top would not have worked without the boob cut-outs, because she couldn't have retained the shape with full-coverage spandex, and if she forewent the spandex, you'd see the rest of the harness/mouth and the straps for the bikini top. It's actually really clever to use that so everything comes together properly.

That would look tacky because you'd just have two circles sticking out of the cut-outs. It's a swimsuit cosplay, to go along with all the other water Pokemon swimsuit gijinka cosplays that have been a Colossalcon staple for like 3 years now.

The only thing remotely "fetishy" about it is the harness, and even that actually has a purpose in the design rather than just being some out of place kink thing.
