Who's planning on going?
I'm hoping they will do a good job, but at the same time, they have really large shoes to fill of they're ever going to live up to Sandusky Colossal.
My cosplay group and I are going! Very excited.
Especially for the hugeass hot tub bar
If you've ever been to Colossal before the attendance boom in 2013, it'll probably feel a lot more like that. It will be smaller, and probably stay that way due to Dragoncon being so close even though that's at the opposite end of the cost. I think it's a good thing though. less crowd stress, less parking stress, less stress on staff.
Cosplay and panels probably won't be amazing but still not awful, but con-run programming should still be fun. Can't really speak on the game room or rave since there's little info, but I'm sure they'll still be enjoyable.
Overall the vibe should be the same and that's what counts.

Two hot tub bars. I'm so hype about the ravecave.
I couldn't go to main ColossalCon so when I heard about East I got all excited and jumped on my friend's room offer. I'm taking my little brother as well, we're both very excited and planning our cosplays!

We're still deciding and working on some things, but probably Aqours Aquairum group, My Hero Academy, Kobayashi and maybe Firebending girls and 7 Deadly Sins.
At this point who knows haha

Naoto from Persona 4 in her swimsuit, probably only for a half day since she's not that recognizable without her hat and normal clothes. Magikarp gijinka. And my brother and I want to do a cosplay pair together, but we're short on ideas. He's a chub 14 year old and the last thing I want is for someone to make fun of him at his second ever con, so I'm trying to think of cosplays that would work for both of us.
