Watch Minori's shironuri tutorial she did with Tokyo fashion. I tried the paint she mentioned in the video (Mitsuyoshi grease paint) and liked it way better than Mehron Clown White and Kyrolan TV stick

I wonder if it's simply a better grease paint formula? Because I believe the paint sticks are essentially grease paint plus some kind of binding agent to keep in in a stick. The quality is okay, but I should take a look at the traditional greasepaint (What I use now tends to slip around a lot despite a whole ton of setting powder).
Anyone have an opinion on "white foundation"? I heard Illamasqua has a decent white, but is the coverage decent?

Mitsuyoshi grease paint has an amazing mousse-like texture which is why I like it, but you go through it quickly so buy a bunch of it. I set it with the 2 way cake from the same brand and it held all day on Halloween and I live in a subtropical climate and it was hot as hell and I sweated a lot because all my exposed skin was covered by paint or clothing. Mehron Clown White was thick and sticky and didn't apply well. I just don't like stick foundation because I can't dip my sponge in it which I why I didn't like the Kryolan stick

Are there any stores people tend to like in terms of coords for shironuri? I know you can wear pretty much any type of lolita, but I think the fluffy/frilly look (would you call it dolly kei??) is most popular with the makeup style.
Or is that just me?

Looks like some solid stuff there! I'm a big fan of Grimoire and I'm somewhat surprised shironuri isn't more fashionable in the darker dolly kei circles.

It really isn't in comparison to Angura, it's only that you see it more often because of Minori.
