Could you suggest some recognizable, good looking armor? I cast aluminum, and I am going to make a good chestplate and pauldrons, but If i just make my own design, i cant really con with it. /v/ or /co/ like? or should i make my own design of a recognizable character?

Anything from Dark Souls. As an added bonus, you get to carry around a flask of orange juice for when you get thirsty.

Drakeblood set is a pretty good start, I don't think you even need suggestions!

as someone who has worked in a non ferrous foundry for a few years ill tell you now that a cast chest plate will most likely look like garbage if done at home with out proper casting gear, and it will also not look like amour is supposed too, if i where you id go for some thin alloy plate (or thin sheet steel if really keen) and rivet it together, it will be faster, easier and cheaper as some one who also makes armor for for roman reenactors as a side job

Works particularly well for Solaire with the whole "praise thr sun" thing, but an Estus flask with the Lothric/Silver knight armor would work well.

Oscar of Astora cosplayer here.
I carried around an emptied and logo-less Simply Orange bottle around during contime.
Dragon Age had some pretty recognisable themes going on, with the added bonus of gauntlets that are so pointy that you can barely touch stuff

>only chest and pauldrons
>recognizable character
if you go pegasus or cygnus you can just polish it and call it a day

also there's the manga versions so you can go even less armored
or just pick up the version you want or say it some other version
and if you fuck up the cast or get a damaged, it'll be more so like the real deal, with cracks and missing pieces
