What if it's all the worst?

I've been wanting to do the actual Voltron build for a while, but just haven't had the time to do it. I would only do it for cons near me since I live in a big city, but those cons have all passed for me so next year hopefully for season 3 I'll have it done!

I'm terrified I'll fall in it. It's my biggest fear since I started cosing gundam and hopefully Voltron wont jinx me.

Here's what I keep thinking about Lance/cosplayers, if you were to actually have an IRL version of him he wouldnt....look good? He's tall, lanky and has somewhat of a horse face and none of these in a good way. He realistically doesn't translate well in real life unlike Shiro, Keith, Pidge, Allura etc

I don't think there will ever be a good Lance but I'd love to be proven wrong

I'm gonna do it gulls, if I can go to Anime Revo/some other Vancouver con I'll ask my /fit/ cousin to be the Shiro to my Pidge. Then the world will have an actual buff Shiro rather than the fakebois cosplaying him now.

probably my favorite shiro I've seen. cosplayer made a foam muscle suit to go underneath, I think that plus the combined toned legs really
make it feel realistic

I think that's why I dislike them so much. Most of them look so tacky and lazy. Especially since Voltron characters already have a casual outfit in the show.

I mean I don't think that sounds unattractive. I think he's just tall and brown where most cosplayers are white or asian girls.

I agree with >>9494661, I don't think the problem is how Lance looks, but rather the cosplayers that choose to cosplay him. They all tend to be small/chubby white/asian girls (I am also guilty of this, I am a pale asian girl but I still want to cosplay Lance). I know a lot of guys, mostly tall & tanner asian guys, that would make a great Lance. It's just that none of them are into Voltron or cosplay at all.

But honestly, seeing any Lance cosplay makes me happy.

I think Geheichou's is probably my favourite Lance that I've seen so far.

What's with all the weird ass make up? I get wearing foundation and some contouring to highlight distinct facial features, but I'm so confused about this weird trend of over done stage make up. Attack on Titan cosplayers do this too and it's so off-putting.

Makes sense. As someone who's cosplayed Allura though, having a t-shirt outfit to wear after peeling out of that dress is a freeing feeling. But it's all personal preference so no knocking down your opinion there.
