To start, apparently USA50's first single is coming out in ten days. I thought the project was dead already but I guess not!

Crystal Rose now has a third generation of members. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_NqqGds_l4
I hope Swyong's singing voice isn't as annoying as her speaking voice.
I can't hear a damn thing Aoi is saying.
Everyone else seems kind of decent.

They should advertise themselves a bit more, then; I completely forgot this group even existed and wouldn't have known they were releasing a song were it not for your post.

That grey skin
>>
>>9467593
it sounds like her first language isn't english so i won't really say anything, at least she can keep a tune.
>>
>>9467613
Bit unfair on the second video; that's ripped from Nico Nico douga and then mirrored and uploaded to YouTube. Quality in video is down to that, not the original video owners.

Also pretty sure that's Guilty Hearts - a lot of vocaloid covers are them, though the girl appears in a lot of dance related things (I think she's professional).

Outfits are hugely less distracting than what was worn in the original song as well.
>>
>>9467726
Miume (the blonde one) is actually the choreographer to a lot of dances people cover (Romeo and Cinderella, Girls, Pink Cat, Gokuraku Jodo, etc). She's a professional, i don't really get why anon chan went at their outfits considering they were covering a KPP song and meant to be silly.
>>
>>9467792
Ah, I know the guy with her as definitely once a member of guilty hearts, so presumed she was the blonde member of them, just her hair styled differently for a video. Thinking about it, she's typically in khakis/cargo pants.

It seems an odd one to bring up, anyway.
>>
>>9468716
oh yeah she is/was in guilty kiss as well, I meant to tag the other anon's post haha

Nanami has got to be tone deaf or something. How else does she never improve at composing music, singing or mixing vocals despite doing this net idol stuff for 6+ years?

Oh, Flusay Girls is far worse than Stellure. In my opinion, they're the worst net idol group ever, period (the only comparable group being Sakura Station... RIP).

Stellure's song was bad, but when you take into consideration that they're teens and it was their first ever song, it was a masterpiece in comparison to anything by Flusay Girls with their unemployed 27-year-old manager who has been producing this garbage music for over 6 years.

>>
>>9469831

At least you're aware it was bad. Most of these groups are deluded and think they're actually good.
>>
>>9469831
Even if you do get posted here, don't sweat it too much. No one is going to know it's you, and ultimately this stuff is meant to be fun. Amateur performances are kinda cringey by default, but also completely reasonable given that none of us are real idols, lol. So a bad video isn't the end of the world, and it can be pretty fun to laugh at yourself (I was in a group doing Kaguya no Shiro de Odoritai and I made the single most obvious mistake of the whole group out of nervousness).

No, but seriously. This is painful to watch for every member. The only one showing any sort of enthusiasm in her movements is Umi and even she doesn't really know the dance well enough to have earned that confidence.
>>
>>9470747
This was pretty cute, the Anya is really pretty.
Though the Shiki looks a little lost
>>
>>9472185
I'm friends with the Shiki. She had less time to learn the dance + she hasn't been dancing as long as the rest of the group since she's younger.

They mostly looked bored? Seemed pretty lazy, not terrible but I wasn't feeling any energy. The Kanade was the only one who I felt putting in the effort, everyone else kind of looked like they were just going through the motions.

What bothers me the most though is those frilly flower-adorned costumes for a song called Shining Stars...

>>
>>9472621
You probably dress badly for them.
>>
>>9474145

The sad reality is that even in the J-Idol business they have to follow a certain formula for a demographic. You are one of the following: A cutesy girl group with a strong focus on uncle audience appealing innocence or cynically speaking "healthy porn" or you are doing the girl band concept. Stellure would unfortunately be seen as going with the flow which plays a big part of J-Idol Culture.

This doesn't help them talent wise but playing it safe is often the best option for a new idol dance group
>>
>>9474313
Are the faces from the Stellure cover art are traced from the Love Live ones?
Nebula and Lily White are pretty similar in posing and expression, and with Supernova and Bibi, Nico is Stella, tilt Eli's head up slightly for Tauri and then copy-paste Stella's head for Mimi.
Am I right or am I reaching?
>>
>>9474313
>>9474403
Someone should be a hero and send this to ASCII Media Works and Lantis since this is super close to copyrighting the original LL work.

>>
>>9473244
Yikes, the gray wig threw me off...
>>
>>9474458
If you want to get technical, on one hand you're right but like the other person said: it's derivative enough that it wouldn't be anything. It'd be one thing if they were actually using LL art and pieces of LL music but LL isn't the only group to have done that kind of picture or setting. Since it's nothing taken directly from Love Live aside from the whole "school idol" part, it really wouldn't be worth their time. The merch they sell is original art in original costume design even if elements ARE from LL. There's nothing worth doing.
>>
>>9469251
>the worst net idol group ever
i'd love to take a poll so we could rank every net idol group from best to worst. but first we'd need a list of every net idol group (not including all these instagram "net idol groups" aka love live! roleplaying groups)

>>9474145
>>9474313
stellure's complete lack of originality never ceases to amaze me. could they at least copy something not from love live! for once?
>>
>>9475157
Jidol for the 15-30 female idol aspirant really dont have as much choice in choosing concepts. LL, 48G and Vocaloid is the only feasible options
>>
>>9475157
I'd love to do an AKB Senbatsu Sousenkyo style ranking on /cgl/ for best/worst groups in general. Split them up between irl groups, net groups, and love live groups. Sounds interesting and fun. I could possibly set everything up if this is something people are interested in.
>>

I think that's it. When I sing I am as tone deaf as >>9469177 (maybe more because I don't actually record myself signing) so I know never to upload anything of that nature. It doesn't help that almost all the comments on these net idol videos are 99% praise, so they don't think there's anything to improve on in the first place.

Widely popular, and that is what AKB48 and LL! represents. An Academic style look to them.
>>
>>9475977
Like >>9476147 said, LL and 48 are the go to because of popularity. Whether or not it's plainly said, if a group has a concept similar to either collection then it's gonna get easy traction. Look at Crystal Rose. They started as KRP28 or something. Flusay has now adopted a senbatsu system like KRP has.

Despite being so many groups around, a lot come into idols and J-Pop through means of 48 and LL (and maybe Hello! Project).
>>
>>9474264

>>9476362

how did they think it was okay to upload this?
>>
>>9476368
I was talking about the anon they were responding to (>>9472239).
>>
>>9475210
I'd definitely be interested if you could set something like that up... but I get the feeling that once Stellure fans hear about it, they'll rabidly spam votes for Stellure because they try to emulate their favorite anime, and not because they're actually talented or hard-working unlike less popular but far better groups like Honey Hime and Lumina Scarlet.
>>
>>9478045
The best way to not make that happen would be making a best and worst list. Both lists would be determined by /cgl/. Ofc Stellure would be on the worst list.
>>
Honestly I think we have better things to spend our time on instead of setting this up. We don't need a list to tell us that they suck balls, it's just common sense.
>>
>>9474145
Is this another sub-group? What happened to the first one?

That's just tacky and the only thing that makes it worse is that her moves (reguardless of being on a moving train) are sloppy. Like the ones that don't even require her to move around aren't that good.

>>9478162

lmao What efforts?

>I go forward to do my best to pull off our upcoming first single. I hope I can pull it off well enough by myself.
If you can't compose music then hire someone who can, especially if this project becoming successful is really that important to you. Don't become another Flusay Girls.
>>
>>9479559
Any group can be added to the doc. Just be sure if its a dead group to list them as inacive or disbanded in their activity status; whatever fits the group description best.
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCSvqsFTZTM

good example of why most of these groups end up being bad: they don't know how to practice efficiently.
>>
>>9479628
You can hardly call whatever they do "practice" to be fair.
I posted about them earlier. They genuinely think theyre going to be successful idols though.
>>
>>9479489
Why is the picture on the right there? What do her political preferences have to do with anything on this board? Mad that someone has a different opinion from you?
>>
>>9479628
Their problem, and other groups problems, is that they learn the dance AT practice. I only noticed this is because their flow in movement is very unconfident and shaky. If they knew the dance, they wouldnt be watching the laptop for the movements but for noticing when positions move.

Dance practices for cosplay groups, or any group in general, like this should be time to get to know what positions you need to move to, working on synchronisation, and finalizing the dance moves you make. Unless they can dedicate the extra time to crrating whole practices to learning a dance together ontop of regular practices described like I described, most practices will result in waisted time like the video.
>>
>>9479194
Really only two of them that stand out as being a bit off; I find them decent to watch because you can tell they're having fun.
>>
>>9479648
wow you're so right
>>
>>9479665
RIP me, just watched stuff other than their cover. They really need to sync themselves up. Also, are they Aussie? >>9479628
>>
>>9479676

No they're British and bloody awful. I saw them at mcm in Birmingham and they took up so much space in terms of slots for the cosplay comp by splitting themselves into three groups instead of performing as one. As a result other love live performers were asked to look at moving their performance to another day.
None of them looked as though they knew what they were doing and the music often stopped dead instead of finding short versions of the songs they were dancing.
Their start dash cover was awful. Their hanayo and Nico couldn't even side step in sync with the others. Nico was even going the wrong way and could have hurt someone.
Also no cosplayed should be asking for the public to fund their hobby when they're nowhere near bring good. The audacity of these girls sickens me.
>>
>>9479909
I was just looking at their channel and noticed that, it's a bit selfish to do something like that in opinion.
It's also very easy to shorten any love live song so no clue on why they decided to cut it off right in the middle like that.
>>
>>9479406
Added some color formulas depending on Active/Inactive/Disbanded status, hope that's fine with you.

While I agree to an extent, not even actual idol groups get a video of a dance by the choreographers/dummy dancers and are told "here learn the movements and positions and we'll put it together next time we meet." Idol groups-indie and major-are usually expected to learn the basics of the dance the first day they are shown. They go through the steps with the choreographer, put it together, and practice over a few days time (maybe 5 at most). But by the first day, they're expected to know what to do.

I said I agree to an extent though because from the looks of it, the Eli didn't even do that. It looks like she just said "here do what I do". And since is this a cosplay dance, they definitely should've at least watched it like you said then Eli teach them step by step.

I just want to thank everyone for the overwhelming response to the spreadsheet. We have about 160+ different names combined with more still being added.

Now that we have a spreadsheet established, what other type of docs would benefit the thread?

I would like to organize the 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. person dance playlist that one anon created into one big spreadsheet like with the groups or just a simple doc page.
>>
>>9480973
Playlist Anon here.
I already have a spreadsheet with them all set up for the dance group I'm in. Each list could easily be added into an additional sheet on your spreedsheet so it's all in one place. I can just put the different lists in different coloums (as opposed to seperate sheets like pic related.) If you want me to, I can make a start on that?
I don't have a solo playlist though, only 2-9 person dances and then 10+. As my original spreadsheet is just used for working out what dances people in the group want to do, to make organising covers & performance setlists easier.

What are your opinions on modifying dances for larger groups? I'm a part of a shitty little idol group made out of some friends and our de-facto leader wants to do a 3 person dance with 9 people.
>>
>>9480269
Not the worst thing I've ever seen. I think with a little more practice it could've been really good
>>
>>9481652
That can be done well if the groupings and transitions are choreo'd well. It all depends on whether or not your group leader has a sense for the thing

Guess we'll find out later this year. Probably end up in this thread for all the wrong reasons
>>
>>9481652

It'll be easier if you can meet up and pick up the choreo and who is doing what piece together. I personally find it difficult to do when I dont have my members with me.
You might be in luck because some groups actually do it themselves and then post it. For example I've seen 5 to 3 member versions of Yume no Tobira, but the best version there was of it got taken down.
Generally speaking it is very difficult to get a full group of dancers so people often improvise with smaller numbers.
What dance are they looking at doing? Someone here might know a smaller group version of it.
>>
>>9481945
A cover of Shocking Party by A-Rise. Don't ask why, that's just the song that got picked. Dance seems pretty fun but I don't know how we're going to make it work for 9 people. Our leader is the only one of us with proper dance experience. Outfits are cute though, which makes me happy!
>>
>>9481958

What I would recommend is have three trios side by side. So divide yourselves and have three of tsubasa, todou etc.
The formation will work out staggered if you make sure your tsubasa is standing forward it will look nice.
Good luck!

I ain't name dropping but I absolutely hate seeing certain cosplayers who look older cosplays young idols(specifically idolm@ster)
Making poor Miki, Iori or Hibiki look 30 when they are under 18. I don't know what it is about them they just have super old, haggard faces and don't suit the characters at all.

They make good costumes, they really do but the faces just... Haggard. None of them suit the characters at all. I'm alittle less hateful for the Ami but everyone else looks 30+, like older mom's dipping their feet into cosplay.

>>
>>9483376
God yes, I love their skills and irl they are all good people and lovely lovely women but they don't fit at all. I don't want to shit on them but no.
>>
>>9483376
I honestly blame the makeup. It's too dark/extreme. I feel like that's often a problem with iM@S groups that /cgl/ shreds. The dark eyeliner and dark lipsticks make them look more mature. That, and iM@S cosplayers rarely do the wigs well. They are barely styled, if at all, which is an issue. Chihaya's hair is not limp/flat. A little bit of primping and work with the bangs goes a long way. Same with Miki. That is a character that needs wefts sewn in or frankensteining of wigs together to get her crazy fluffy look.
But honestly I really actually love these groups. The costumes are always beautiful, the pictures turn out nice, and they're fairly cute. But then again I think IchigoKitty is a super cute Hibiki so maybe I'm just weird.

what stick out like a sore thumb is the stiff movements and timing.

There are way too many similarities between the songs for it to just be an accident or coincidence, and they're not fooling anyone. I think the only way they could redeem themselves at this point is to just straight up admit they copied the song and permanently remove it.

>>
>>9488772
I think anon was more refering to the cosplay side of things. Sure there are plenty of people who still dance to vocaloid songs, they just don't do it in cosplay as much as people used too. Unlike the current trend of anime dance covers, with cosplay dance groups popping up left right & centre.
>>
>>9488694
>>9488737
Since this person said both groups are great I'm inclined to believe that this is not a self post.
I can't imagine two love live cover groups getting along that well to think another group in the same city is great.
>>
>>9485574
That is true. The members themselves are pretentious people as well so it's not so surprising that the fanbase is cancerous.

>>9488737
They really should take note self-posts. There are a few LL groups from Australia that keeps self-posting and starting drama on cgl. Threads on other countries aren't concentrating much on vendetta, in comparison, ones which includes australian cosplayers in it get too annoying and dramatic. Speaking of cancerous.
>>
>>9489558
>probably one of groups wants to get friendly with the other?

though as you said, no two groups get along even in US where all is far from each other.
>>
A-MUSE is the best idol group in Australia.
>>
>>9489561
In what way are the members pretentious? There's actually very few K-Pop fan bases without any cancerous members but as a whole, it's not super bad. The dumb ones are just more vocal.

>>9488772
>>9488798
The anon I was replying to literally said "I really miss people dressing up in Vocaloid and dancing in groups, I just don't see it anymore."

It was partically a joke but like >>9489552 said, there's definitely people still DANCING to Vocaloid. But it's super rare to see whole groups for it anymore. That's because focus has shifted. The current obsession isn't Vocaloid. It's stuff like LL, Cinderella Girls, and actual idol groups. Hence my words. Not saying Vocaloid is non-existent anymore (not sure where you read that).
>>
>>9489587
that's debateable
>>
>>9489647

>>
>>9489558
There's two LL cover groups in my area, and it's really funny because one is chill and just wants to dance and hang out with everyone. They don't really care what the other group does, since they've openly admitted "there's a limited amount of songs LL groups can cover anyway, there's going to be similarities". The other group is brand new and hyper competitive and is determined to be the better LL group. It's kind of funny to watch.
>>
>>9489878
Lmao we have the opposite problem. The older group in our area wasn't active (but they existed) until we became active and accused us of leaving negative comments, disliking their videos, making competition, etc. We were all like...wat. Vancouver. I think we've got at least 10 groups and counting. Cons over here are now limiting which groups get to perform/get to have panels too and everyone in the community complains that that's all that cons are now a days; giant idol showcases with no other content.
>>
>>9491453
>This anon is just afraid to get called out cause they're probably ugly and overaged
>somebody disagrees with me wah
>>
>>9491621
It's a valid concern. Perhaps your comm can team up and host a single big panel/event where all the groups can participate, instead of having 10 separate idol events in a convention weekend?
>>
>>9491636
Seconing this. Cons have started opening up to the idea of idol festival type panels and it will eliminate the nerve of conflicting performances and other idol related events. Theres 2 established idol festivals here in the states in their 2nd year so it doesn't hurt to try this format.
>>
>>9491636
I would love to do that however, following the recent creation of a cosplay confessions page, the groups are quite divided. Even the wotas that come and cheer have their own drama that happens from time to time. There were talks at one time of hosting something separate from the local cons kind of what >>9491649 is talking about however it was suggested by the group with the least amount of experience, resources, and organizational skills so I doubt anything will come of it. I guess we'll see how AR's idol showcase goes but I have a feeling that once it's released who gets the chance to perform, the groups that didn't get picked are going to be upset and start drama again.
>>
>>9490404
I kind of wondered. I tried looking for a dance but couldn't find anything hahaa
>>
>>9468870
That's just personal taste then. They're not bad, you just don't like them
>>
I honestly don't get the whole "they shouldn't cosplay x because they're too old/tall/ugly/etc" thing that's going on here, and the "love live groups that aren't character accurate within the group". So? I'm not gonna waste my money on doing Nico for a group when I can't stand her, even though I'm the short one. Unless you're gonna pay for my costumes, you're just gonna have to suck it up that I'm a short Nozomi.

Feel the same for those im@s women. They're paying for their cosplays, not you, so they get to decide what they wear. To be honest, I think most of them suffer from crap make-up (Ami has white eyeshadow on ffs) and crap wigs.
>>
>>9491258
The characters in im@s range from 11-12 to 21.
>>
>>9491621
I know that feeling. We've just started arranging one giant panel (like mentioned above) because of all the complaints/competition. It'll essentially be one long performance panel where each group has x amount of time to perform.
>>
>>9492032
Honestly I love that setup about my comm though. Most groups are really supportive of each other and holding group events reinforces that. We're even having a meetup/picnic/performance at a local park in a few weeks! Hopefully hosting more group panels and such eases the feeling of competition among your comm.

Maki's thighs are the single redeeming factor about this. God I'm so gay.
>>
>>9491621

If the rest of the cosplay community hasn't spilled into massive dramafests the idol groups wouldn't be flooding the scene. They were the ones who kept the small one up cons from being ghost towns. I still remembered Halloween expo and Nihon Expo.

god this is so cringe-worthy. Seeing all those self-post groups gives me cancer. Not a single one of them is a looker yet they have so much confidence.
>>

It's a community-created catalog of every single group and solo act regardless of quality. >>9479150
>>
>>9492527
That's a little harsh considering two of the groups that self posted came from the same comment. It's impossible they both self posted.
>>
>>9492267
same, i'm way into Maki's outfit of choice
>>
>>9492267
>>9492964
Alright Maki, you can stop self posting now. You aren't as attractive as you think you are and seriously need to learn how to do your make up.
>>
https://youtu.be/jELPA3fM-dY
>>
>>9493145
Are you posting this as a bad example or good? The Nozomi was pretty consistently slower than the others but that can be remedied with more group practices. Other than that, they're pretty good.
>>
>>9493118
Chill bitch, let me appreciate a good pair of thighs. I promise someone out there thinks you're hot too.
>>
Sure is Summer in here.

Anyway, a lot of these performers really should learn how much even details like their choice of outfits and/or locations can affect the impact of their videos, even if they are good dancers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S5Gn_d0KIE
She looks great, but it's hard for me to focus on how sexy you are when you're a mile away from the camera with that mess on your porch being almost more prominently in frame than you are.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NikYBW3WBXU
Looks like a basement with some cheap party decorations haphazardly stuck to onto the wall vaguely in the shape of a heart.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16KHOPIF78A
Why?
>>
>>9493225
the top two dance with such awkwardness it feels like some creepy guy behind the camera is shooting it. the last one at least has some confidence and energy in her weird chicken moves.
>>
>>9493225
I basically have the same opinion as >>9493270. The first two are terrible in that they seem dead, don't know the moves, and can't even dance in heels (if you can't dance in them why would you wear heels that tall and thin number 1?). They also lack required sexiness. The last one is very wild in movement but she can move. The toys are.... there but she could be sexy if she just toned it down a bit.
>>
>>9492931
There's more than 2 groups who self-posted according to the document
And the groups you're referring to came from the same city so who knows what they're planning. Maybe selfposting is a way for them to earn likes and views. Though I still stand by my opinion that none of the self post group members are pretty. Not because they self posted, they just look overaged cosplayers for me. Idol cosplays such as love live should be done by younger generation girls.

The one that caught my attention are the ones from Japan. Theyre not as cringey. They even have the height distributed properly.
>>
>>9493118
Finally somebody said it. Growing tired of this maki thighs when the cosplayer herself doesn't even look like a girl.
>>
>>9493794
I finally went to watch that video (just sick of love live cosplay groups) and jesus, yeah, Maki is obviously lurking. She has a good body EXCEPT for the thighs lmfao
>>
>>9493792
are you perhaps one of the underaged LL cosplayers?
>>
>>9493225
does that first girl just not know what layering audio is?
Like, she's sexy and all (imo) but the lack of music overlay is too much of a distraction.

and think this is acceptable enough to upload and share with the world. I wish I were this confident (or delusional).

>>9497506
They should get some standards then if they're drooling over pic related. There are plenty of cuter dancers with nicer thighs to ogle.

>>9495291
You're clearly new here and stupid enough to expect us to praise mediocrity, and yet just smart enough to not mention your friend's group name and earn them even more criticism. Good job.

The problem with Mermaid Festa (and a lot of Love Love!'s dances honestly) is that it highly relies on having all 9 people present. It's not actually a complete dance for any particular person, there just isn't enough stuff going on. The only reason dances like that look good are because a lot of people are doing them at once. So cutting it to one person just looks...boring. Also what is up with the gaps of silence in the audio?
>>

Avoid Ekho at all costs. Their Eli is a notorious scammer/shit stirrer/ drama queen, and their nozomi did the whole buying likes shit. Not sure about 1, 2 Shine
>>
>>9497605
Please tell more about Eli.
>>
>>9497589
I think Mermaid Festa can be done decently with 3 or 5 people, but it looks plain wrong with a single dancer or an even number of them.
>>
>>9497834
You know what, I agree with you. I was skeptical, but I found this 5-person version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7DOShqD-iY) and they manage to give all 5 people enough moves that it doesn't look empty. But I still don't think it looks good with 1 person, no matter how good of a dancer that person is.
>>
>>9497816
Her name is Arila Insanity/ Jessica/ Dawn of a New Era Cosplay or whatever she goes by now. I've dealt with her shit irl, she threatened a friend of mine and got her followers into a frenzy about it because my friend called her out. Also, she is known for seriously lowballing/ backing out of trades/ not returning money for sales, as well as being crazy enough that for a long time she claimed she was 'the only miku cosplayer', and gets mad and tries to harass anyone who cosplays the same characters she does. She is also really fucking easy, used to do creepy fetish stuff and is generally nuts. Honestly just avoid her like the plague
>>
>>9498113
>'the only miku cosplayer'

Lol one year at a con my friends and I played "miku punch" where we punched each other every time we saw a miku cosplayer. We got bruises, there were so many. That's like saying you're the only AoT or Homestuck troll cosplayer.
>>
>>9491258

Tbf some people age really well, and others just don't. I know I'm well past my limit for certain characters with certain looks and I would look really out of place bizarre doing those characters.

Age completely aside, the members in Angel Hearts frankly have unfortunate faces. Bad makeup that ages them certainly isn't helping, but even if you go back and look at them when they were cosplaying when in their teens they still look pretty busted. Don't think anyone here is saying they could do better.

Haven't seen much judgement of their dancing though, so here's something:
https://youtu.be/SYtdQIRxlXQ
>>
>>9498317
Pink girl really stuck out like a sore thumb and blue hair and yellow chick were the best of the group. Why the low angle??
>>
>>9498317
they are a bit sloppy and everybody seems kind of unsure what the next move is. Also, in different shots (when it's cut) they do different moves than in the previous shot despite it seeming like it should be the same (the clapping at the beginning stands out the most for this).

but they are cute overall just the dancing needs work
>>
>>9491658

We had that last year. It was called AR School Idol Revolution and someone mentioned how cringy it was. Then there is Natsu Heroes and their boy band spin off Boyish 7 who runs a panel at AR as well as being the more open group of the odottemita groups which is a plus

You got any opinions on the other groups like Sigma, EPS, Zeus, Vector 7 or Decaloid?

y-you guys meant Toronto, Canada right?

>>9498131
which year was this? I hardly ever see any Mikus anymore at cons, even lesser of any other loids, but when I do and we make eye contact it's a magical moment

Actually at the last con I went to there was a surprising number of loid cosplayers, it was odd but nice

Speaking of cons, does anybody remember when people would just blast the music outside or inside an area of the con and just dance a bunch of songs out in the open?
It seems nowadays people are doing panels, was it harder to get panels for the average everyday cosplayer or did people just not think about getting one?
>>
>>9499880
Sigma, EPS, and Zeus are kind of all just there to get attention from cringey wota boyz and take meitu/snow photos of themselves in cosplay. Vector 7 I don't think really gets what it means to be in the dance community, I am pretty sure they were formed just to promote an international language school but then again, they've only had one performance so who knows.

Decoloid at least isn't dedicated soley to one franchise (love live is dead guys just let it die). Some of their members are better than others, but I'm sure with some improvement they could all be at the same level.

If you're in Toronto, there was a lot of open air music and dancing at Anime North last weekend. A HUGE group of kpop dancers next to the parking lot, at least 2 guys wandering around with speakers blasting music, 1 guy playing guitar, a duo with sax and clarinet, 1,2,Shine! did an hour long live show outdoors, and there was some random dancing going on outside the TCC front doors.

They have some decent members, but the rest.... They also borrow members from DSOM some times, making an already bad group even worse.

Does anyone have any dances that are fairly easy to pick up that will also give you a work out? Stuff like BarBarBar by Crayon Pop or Nico Puri. I've wanted to get some extra exercise and switch up from the dances I already know without having to commit to learning a difficult but fairly intensive dance.
>>
>>9501821
Okay wow. That picture alone has so much wrong with it. First off, their costumes are obviously made by two different people. Second, I don't care that Maki is fat (she's not the fattest I've seen sadly) but she looks bored as hell, her posture is shit, and her costume isn't even on right. It looks like she slept in it and didn't bother to fix the wig or the dress. The only thing wrong with Hanayo is that her face is kind of unfortunate but kinda adorable in a weird way?
>>
>>9501821
That Kotori isn't that bad to be honest
>>
>>9502029
Maki was probably too fat to fit into the vinyl one so she had to get the satin one instead
>>9501873
It's kind of a hard request because 'easy to pick up' depends on the person but you could try Hand in Hand from Aqours or take a look at some iM@s songs as they tend to have more static choreo (Kyun Vampire Girl, I'd say Little Match Girl but it's pretty difficult in some places)
>>
What did you guys think of the Fanime stage zero idol performances?
>>
>>9501873
Maybe not what you're looking for, but I've been going along with the "kpop dance workout" videos you can find on Youtube. They use a lot of really simple moves, so the repetition will still improve your dance skills, but it's meant to be a workout primarily. And it's easy enough to watch one and follow along without having to learn anything.

I'm in a dance group and I've had it happened where a member or even myself has not been able to complete learning a dance on time or it's not up to standards with everyone else and you just aren't allowed to perform at that point. I feel like it's common sense, why would you even want to even be on a stage making a fool of yourself like that?
>>
>>9502726
Yeah, for sure. Having a gap in the formation looks way less awkward than having someone up there who clearly has no idea what they're doing.
