OT sage, but I'm love with this dress, anyone know the name since I can't read moonspeak?
>>9443690

it does not seem to say the name, but the brand is Baby, so you might be able to locate it via Lolibrary

That's... a creepy doll. I like the rest in this thread though.

A girl brought a doll to a tea meet once and it was the most cringe thing ever. She sat the doll on top of the table and gave her her own teapot and cup and kept addressing her like she was real.

>Did anyone in your comm ever bring a doll to a meet?
Not since I've been a member/to the meets I've attended.
>Have you ever wished for a BJD specifically for lolita-related reasons?
I do have one for sewing specifically lolita related things for it.
>Did you ever actually use a doll as part of a photoshoot or to enhance your own coord?
I don't think I would, but if there was a meet for it, I totally would. I just think it looks a little odd by yourself, like you're carrying around your only friend.
>Do you own any BJDs now, and if so, do you dress them in Japanese street fashion?
Yes, one only for that purpose.
>What do you think about the collabs between brands and BJD companies? Have you ever owned any doll collabs?
I really like them! I don't own any as I prefer realistic looking dolls and it's always pullips and large dollfies that get collabs.
>Do you wish a specific BJD company or artist would do a brand collaboration, and if so, who?
I really just want AP x MSD size as it's really difficult to find sweet style shoes/tea parties for my doll.
>>9443673
>Did anyone in your comm ever bring a doll to a meet?
More like I wore lolita to every doll meet I attended too.
>Have you ever wished for a BJD specifically for lolita-related reasons?
Bttsb-volks doll just because she looks so cute
>Did you ever actually use a doll as part of a photoshoot or to enhance your own coord?
No
>Do you own any BJDs now, and if so, do you dress them in Japanese street fashion?
I say 3 of my dolls do not including my AP ones
>What do you think about the collabs between brands and BJD companies? Have you ever owned any doll collabs?
I think the collabs are cute, expensive but cute.
2 Ap and pullip(sp?) sets I own, I love the details on the little bags on everything
>Do you wish a specific BJD company or artist would do a brand collaboration, and if so, who? Anyone with cute outfits I would love

>>9443673
>Did anyone in your comm ever bring a doll to a meet?
Not that I've seen.
>Have you ever wished for a BJD specifically for lolita-related reasons?
Yes. All of my BJDs are boys but when I finally get a girl, I want to dress her in lolita.
>Did you ever actually use a doll as part of a photoshoot or to enhance your own coord?
No, I haven't.
>Do you own any BJDs now, and if so, do you dress them in Japanese street fashion?
I have a couple of boys who wear ouji-like outfits.
>What do you think about the collabs between brands and BJD companies? Have you ever owned any doll collabs?
I like them but I don't own any.
>Do you wish a specific BJD company or artist would do a brand collaboration, and if so, who?
I think a collab with Sakizo would be cool to see.

errr anon, i think that's a child....

we may never know for sure

The first lolita meet i went to, in like 2006, I was the only human wearing lolita. The other people were wearing bondage pants and horrible felt and gross lace headdresses. There were more bjd's than people, a couple dolls had cute lolita dresses but a few had literally lace fabric just sewn around them for lolita dresses. You could see their teeny dicks through it. These girls thought that was so funny.
The meet got moved last minute so I was a little late, no water for tea. I sat there silently while they complained about yaoi and how hard lolita clothes are to get. (to be fair it was a pain back then.) Then I just left.
>>9444067
that sounds like a glorious, glorious train wreck
This seems like a good thread to ask. How do you pronounce Pullip? I think I've been wondering this for ten years now. I've never got a straight answer. Is there an official way?
>>9443704
The dress is Innocent Rose from Btssb but the flowers don't belong to the dress, she added them herself
>>9444109
Rhymes with "tulip"
>>9444120
Great, thank you! I've been saying it like that this whole time and people keep correcting me saying it's "puh-lip".
>>9444088
It was! It was a trip because I had heard about lolitas irl being picky about what you wear, so I was worried that the lace on my blouse didn't match the lace on my skirt.
>Did anyone in your comm ever bring a doll to a meet? Yes; I've never brought one of my dolls, though.
>Have you ever wished for a BJD specifically for lolita-related reasons? Nope.
>Did you ever actually use a doll as part of a photoshoot or to enhance your own coord? Nope.
>Do you own any BJDs now, and if so, do you dress them in Japanese street fashion? Yes; I have 4 BJDs; 3 male, 1 female. The female wears J-punk, my males wear EGA.
>What do you think about the collabs between brands and BJD companies? I really like the h.naoto collabs. Have you ever owned any doll collabs? No; I do have a few Kuroshitsuji pullips & and a Taeyang Sebastian doll, though.
>Do you wish a specific BJD company or artist would do a brand collaboration, and if so, who? I'd LOVE to see MmM or Atelier Boz do a collab but that likely won't happen.
Kind of want to mod a MH since real BJDs are expensive and I need that burando cash
>>9445650
Repainting MH dolls is really easy if you're good at drawing/makeup already. My first attempt went super smoothly. Do keep in mind that you will need to invest some money for the materials, though, so if money is your concern, maybe you can look into buying a Pullip.

I have to share these AB headpieces for Blythe. I own this and the normal size one, it would be fun to have a full matching out
>>9445715
Blythe dolls actually terrify me, which makes me sad because I love their clothes.
Those fucking dead ass eyes, though...
>>9445725
I definitely get that. I could never live with a doll collector because those things just make me very unconfortable for some odd reason.
>>9445713
>Should I keep posting?
yeah m8

There are 'realistic' SD-size bjds that could fit into the Volks x BtSSB collabs. The clothes will fit more than SD-branded bjds.
>Did anyone in your comm ever bring a doll to a meet?
Not that I've seen.
>Have you ever wished for a BJD specifically for lolita-related reasons?
Not specifically for lolita, no.
>Did you ever actually use a doll as part of a photoshoot or to enhance your own coord?
I haven't but I'd like to.
>Do you own any BJDs now, and if so, do you dress them in Japanese street fashion?
I own quite a few; one wears hime.
>What do you think about the collabs between brands and BJD companies? Have you ever owned any doll collabs?
I love the collabs but don't own any.
>Do you wish a specific BJD company or artist would do a brand collaboration, and if so, who?
Would love a MmM x CP project since most of my big dolls are pre-luts split CP.

I'm tired of Blythe and pullip collabs, I think small dolls look like kid's toys. SD and SD+ only for me
I really really want that gingham btssb oldschool set they rereleased, but I didn't have the money at the time
>>9446591
Yeah, SD is not a realistic size for me to have. I wish they'd collab on other sized dolls, but I understand 1/3 scale is easier.
>>9449917
I think there are a few older MSD Baby collabs but they're incredibly rare.
This got me so nostalgic. A while ago I remember posting on
a feels thread (I think?) about wanting to sell my dolls because I'm not that much into them anymore and need the money. I did end up selling a few but there are some I still can't find the heart to sell, like my Aatp Isul.
Also, >>9443673 that Volks Aatp collab would always be a grail of mine, I don't think I could ever afford it though
