Title of this listing is "BDSM aristocratic Gothic Jewelry BDSM Collar Wedding Gloves Gothic Clothing Victorian Lolita Sbmissive"
The bow isn't even centered
$250
It showed up in a search for "lolita" and has "ddlg" in the listing title
$185. And the kimono part is backwards
$200
$21
$41
>>9419247
I can't hate this. The concept is stupid as fuck but the construction is good
>oh hey this shop makes custom petticoats i should favorite-
>nevermind
$45
$375. And this seller is in the same town as me, hm.
>>9419241
Is that for Umbreon? The circles tip me off to it, but I'd say its passible for a gijinka design. That being said, I would never wear it.
>>9419264
Yeah it's umbreon.
$325
Didn't even stick the false eyelash in the right place
>>9419241
Oh god, this reminds me of this monster, yours only $155!
>>9419259
This looks like some shit pixielocks would make lmao
>>9419272
I'd really like this if the eye was facing the right way and it lost the false eyelash...
>>9419252
I mean... at least she's only charging $65 for it and isn't calling it lolita.
>>9419252
What does that mean?
>>9419371
It's a sissy dress
>>9419247
I've always wanted odd shaped pretzels stuck to my head.
>>9419374
oh ew
Why do people choose the worst color combinations? Like who would ever think this would be a good color scheme to use??
>>9419268
Nice jizz stains on the top half
I hate these yellow fuckers
>>9419535
Somewhere there's a middle aged mum who's wearing those or buying them for their mortified daughter.
>>9419247
Steampunk pretzel-chan
The creepy model doesn't help
$24
why is the bow in the front
And here's one for D.Va. Let's ignore the fact thats she's Korean and therefore a hanbok would be much more appropriate and make a kimono instead
>>9419638
Holy fuck I am triggered by these hems. Also it's obvious she didn't bother ironing the fabric before sewing, what the fuck.
>>9419604
Tell me this isn't for a grown adult.
>>9419677
It is. And it's not a sissy thing, it's just a quirky "accent chair"
>>9419646
Kawaii twisty turdy
>>9419685
My favorite part is the eye screw that's waaaaay too big for the piece
>>9419599
Ew. Why not just use a mannequin head? I don't want to buy something that was on that greasy looking fellow's head.
Wow. Kink and Minecraft. Two cringy things rolled up into one horrible Etsy listing
>>9419259
you could possibly own this outfit
>>9419896
Pompom kei will be the next big hit.
>>9419896
Or you could cover yourself in glue, roll around in some pom poms, and get the same effect
>>9419899
Pixielocks will claim it as her own special snowflake fashion
Found this a long time ago.

This is a troll, right?
>>9419636
>vault-tec logo
but...why? where the fuck does a cosplay kimono fit into the fallout aesthetic? it doesn't even work as a cosplay because no character ever dresses like that. what's even the point of this thing? where would you even wear it?
>>9419932
just checked his shop again. looks like it is still up, even has the same artwork. Looks like he has become more sensible and lowered the price down to only $229,371.13.
Btw, I took that first screenshot in 2013, he has been paying etsy fees for 4+ years and not a single sale. I don't even understand.
>>9419933
The same shop has a shitty fandom kimono for every occasion. My favorite is the Mulan kimono
>>9419261
It looks like someone's trying to sell a page from one of those "adult" coloring books.
Also this eyesore. I can't believe this shop has over 2000 sale's. That's 2000 weebs running around cons in her shitty kimonos
>>9419604
They ruined an alright chair with all that cheap, cheap crap.
>>9419959
Joseph-kun and the niji-colored yume kimono!
>>9419959
*Sales. Fucking autocorrect
Doing madlibs in the search box at etsy with the terms bikini and lolita gave me this creepy item. Over 200 bucks for something faintly smelling of lesbian pedophilia, anyone?
>>9419896
strapping your make-up bag to your tits is a really great solution for not doing the laundry as often as you should.

Stop ruining my favorite things Etsy
I too can stick the contents of my junk drawer in resin, and I don't need $70 to do so
I see hideous resin pieces all the time but this one stands out and earns it's place in the hall of shame due to it's price
>>9419994
I saw it and was all "Aw that's pretty cute!"
And then I saw the price.
I'd pay $20 for that max...
>>9419974
now that I'm somewhat terrified, I have to know what title they gave this
>>9420002
That the little girl looks like Sarah Jessica Parker may be the worst or the best thing about it, can't decide.
These threads always make me feel so much better about myself. I was worried that I might not be good enough to sell yet, but now I'm inspired to open an Etsy shop up. Sure, this stuff is hideous, but this is the kind of selling confidence I need to have.
Contributing with "etsy665 ooak bra, handmade decorated, burlesque, lolita style" which looks like it could fall apart and shrivel into dust at any moment.
>>9419233
.... I love these but def without the red bow

I was briefly into looking at Etsy when Homestuck was at its peak; does Hussie's girlfriend still try to get troll horns taken down?

I giggled. Well played anon-kun.

It's so you can show everyone else at the wedding that you're not only hip to Japanese culture but also a real gamer girl!
>>9419896

I've seen (and done) my share of abstract art. I don't claim to be super at it, but this is some second-year shit right here.
>>9420106
If you're stuck at home it's definitely worth a try, anon. If I lost my job I'd be all over etsy selling my craft projects to gullible weeaboos. With a minimum of good taste and getting better as you go, you might get a decent side income out of it in the long term.
>>9419929
>>9419940
this reminds me of the its always sunny in Philadelphia episode with the abstract art. there are some lessons to be learned there
>>9419599
I remember this guy being posted for the first time and some gull saying she actually finds him attractive, only to realize how low are her standards. Good times.
>>9420305
>hubba hubba
I feel like low standards are painfully common on this board and in female nerd circles in general. If the guy has a good personality it's one thing, but so many girls in my comm bring along these greasy blob-looking men to meetups who just sit around staring at their DS and making nasty comments at the rest of us and I don't understand why anyone would want to hang out with them at all, let alone date them. Better a greasy asshole than no one at all, I suppose?
This skirt and short set can be yours for the low, low price of $2,500
>>9420382
Is it supposed to look like she's farting out that blue tulle or
$56. And the shop's name is tastelessboutique, which is hilarious considering the stuff they make
>>9420269
I thought the exact same thing.
$110
Guess how much this is
$196
$196 for two shitty wigs glued to your shoulders
To be fair, I did use human hair in a project for an avant garde project in my fashion class last quarter, but I didn't turn around and try and sell it on Etsy for nearly $200
How to look like the world's biggest weeaboo. Also isn't that Korean on the skirt print? It's definetly not Japanese
$157 for cheap lace
$102. Yes it's supposed to be lolita, the way its styled in one of the model photos and the title makes that clear
>>9420433
And here's the model photo I mentioned
$118
$139 and has lolita in the title
>>9419259
I know someone who makes these, but she felts them herself and makes them into bulbous "infected" body harnesses for craft purpose only - not really to be worn. I didn't know this was a thing outside of her obsession with pimples and shit
>>9420462
Subject aside, this looks pretty well made.
>>9420491
Her whole shop is like that. Decent craftsmanship, terrible ideas
>>9420497
What a shame.
>>9419604
hey i kinda like this
>>9420623
i kinda like you anon
>>9419968

>>9420382
I usually give stuff like this a pass because they are normally selling to burlesque performers which is a very niche market.
>>9419342
Maybe it's a goat eye?
>>9420442
This could be salvaged by removing that horrid bodice lace and adding detail along the bodice seams, maybe replacing that panel with a pintucked panel instead? I like everything except the bodice...
>>9421211
Nah, their pupils are rectangular, much like other animals who have eyes on the far sides of their heads

>>9421230

>>9420382

this is amazing and I am going to make the top for myself.
>>9420398
eh
I like the concept, and doll shoes like that are kinda expensive unless you find a bulk source... if this was Barbie pink I think someone might actually like this.
>>9419225
is that a maxi pad
>>9420422
It's Japanese/Chinese, but sideways and the 口 radicals are simplified to circles so it looks Korean. It says stuff like happiness, blessing, luck etc
>>9419636
>bow in the front
This always makes me want to scream. Nice bathrobe.
>>9419974
>DAE have difficulty even talking to people with a dog collar? I can't take anyone who advertises their kink like this seriously.
There is a 60 year old woman with bright red hair that always comes into my workplace wearing a dog collar with her husband. He's an asshole and she has this crazy look on her face all the time.
>>9419953
My eyesssss.
>>9421213
The lacing on the bodice is the worst part but it would still look like shit if that were replaced. Look at the hem of the skirt. Look at the fabric. This is not salvageable.
>>9421470
Bright red haired is a good indicator of crazy. I've never met a person with bright red hair who wasn't fucking nuts and awful to be around in some way. Natural red or ginger or auburn or whatever is fine but fire engine red? Literal red flag.
Why do so many young women have such bad taste these days? My grandma and great grandma made such lovely crafts with no formal training, even when they were teenagers. Like, these people have no idea how to construct something that looks good. It's not just their lack of technical skill, it's their complete lack of sense. A good portion of this shit would look a hundred times better if they had better taste.
>>9421535
I blame the rise of "be yourself/ignore the haters" culture and how this modern climate encourages extreme individualism above all else. People think valid criticism is just "hating" and then ignore it and never improve
>So i usually make lolita dresses but this time wanted to make a playsuit that was a little but loli out of this fabric I had laying around (not enough to make a dress). But then I found this pearly irridescent fabric which I thought would make a great biblike detail and these heart shaped pearly buttons and then the lace...
>Debating... Do I add the bib or leave it plain?
Neither. Burn everything.
>>9421535
>Why do so many young women have such bad taste these days?
because you spend more time looking at bad craft thread rather than good craft threads? Because your grandparents didn't keep the crappy crafts they made?

They had home ec and sewing classes offered in school during their time, also their mom's taught them to sew most likely. Nowadays such classes aren't offered anymore, if you want to learn to sew it's either the internet or befriend and old lady.

>>9420327
>Better a greasy asshole than no one at all, I suppose?
No I refuse to believe that.
I've known a ton of these assholes and I think I'll just stay a virgin the rest of my life. I've watched so many of my high school friends marry and start a family with these guys and it just baffles me because I know most of them aren't happy and just did it because 'well, we're not getting younger, better take what you can get'
Fuck that, three more years till wizardhood it is.
>>9426729
Don't settle for a grease ball anon, stay strong.
I didn't lose my virginity untill I was 25 because none of the boys/men I'd met before that were decent and I refused to have sex just to 'get it over with'
Ofcourse the man I did finally have sex with turned out to be an asshole of a different kind. But I don't regret sleeping with him or waiting that long.
>>9426776
>>9426729

>>9426777
Construction looks pretty neatly done, but why the hell is the bustle om the front?
>>9426784
Oh god, dropped waist is becoming a trend
>>9426729
IT happens across gender lines, too, then. I know a lot of guys that have "settled" for lack of a better term, out of fear of being alone.
I accepted eventual wizardhood and dying without ever knowing love back in my early teens so it doesn't bother me short of the seldom comment from a relative about finding a girlfriend already.
New on Lacemarket.
I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but it just looks so...dirty.

>>9426861

>"Unleash your inner trailer park princess" actually in the description.
>>9426857
I actually like the idea, construction could be better
>>9421230
Looks like someone took the oft-repeated line "Poorfags shouldn't try to get into Lolita if they can't afford it. This is a luxury fashion" a bit too seriously.
>>9420435
>pale orange lace on top and skirt + everything else in the outfit from the makeup to the jewelry calling for yellow or orange

There should be some kind of mandatory screening process for handmade items on LM to keep shit like this out of there

>>9426997
Even the custom sizing costs less than that, what is she smoking?
Also the description of the Etsy shop is hilarious:
"I'm sky! I've wanted to be a fashion designer for as long as I can remember."
As someone who was a fashion design major until very recently, I can tell you she would not last one day in the fashion industry
>>9427008
Oh, reading the comments, she said it was like $90 when she bought it a year ago, so she said she'd lower the price to $65. Still not much cheaper than just buying the thing new.
>>9426991
ngl I've considered churning out ugly weeb shit to sell at cons because from what I've seen, the average weeb has much lower standards than the average lolita yet is willing to shell out so much more. The only reason I haven't is because I worry it will fuck up my reputation with people who do have standards.
>>9426921
The technique on this is really good; nice seems, shirring looks even, hems don't look too bad. The color scheme is okay, but the fabric choice and how they presented it is shit but not that bad.
>>9422828
>What's good!?
not this.

Not actually sure it's anything more that vague nitpick in a westernized design. The length frills and cut are bigger issues than the folding direction if you want to criticize over it not conforming to the tendencies of traditional wear. It's already hardly a kimono at all, just kimono-inspired, I don't know why conforming to western women's clothing tradition is somehow the big issue.
>>9428621
Is this dress pattern being handed out in flyers on the streets?? There are so many makers who make the exact same thing it's creepy.

Nayrt but it's the easiest thing in the world to fix, which almost makes it more frustrating than fucking up on the pattern or fabric choice. Most tables are around 60cm deep and that "waistband" laid flat is taking up almost the entire table, so I think it's fair to say she's at least got a 100cm waist. DERIVATIVE
>>9427766
christ, I saw this on LM and they didn't even include the pitstain pics.
>>9430471
i still cant believe shes a mod
>>9430868
I know it's supposed to be stylized.. but it just looks bootleg. I want to witness it in real life.
>>9430481
The Trunchbull really let herself go.
>>9430868
Nintendo will sue her into the next life for this abomination.
>>9430338
I have to agree with the anon. The one girl with bright red hair I knew in fandom eons ago hooked up with a married father of three and then they tried to sue JK Rowling. Batshit.
>>9430252
I already hate excessive lacing for no reason on burando, what the hell is this? A pillow cover?
>>9432709
Why did she sue JK Rowling?
>>9430868
Was this posted in a sales group?
>>9419223
im sorry but why the fuck is the serger stitch showing....
>>9428129
Me because I actually follow goatshrine and they do nice work but anyway
I was just looking for cute phone cases and I found this monstrosity
>>9421256
I'm pretty sure OP was complaining moreso about the price than the aesthetic.
>>9419282
Oh stop. Darling Amy makes some cute shit. Just because it isn't your taste doesn't mean in belongs in this thread.
>>9434294
Sorry you got posted.
>>9434294
The construction looks decent but her designs are garbage, anon. You have shit taste.
>>9434304
>the "you disagree so it must be u!1!!" meme
k
>>9434311
Some of her stuff is sort of like...why...like I don't truly understand why every character ever gets made into a kimono these days. Admittedly a batman kimono doesn't make sense. But she does have some pretty cute designs for other things.
>>9434315
You act like $150 is sooo outrageous for a handmade garment. It's not.
And I disagree with you in the construction, I think it looks fine from the photo. But I'm just a seamstress so wtf would I know right.
>>9434320
I'm sorry, professional seamstress-chan, you could have a Sewing Law Degree and your taste would still be shit.
>>9432852
Plus size j-fashion sales, I believe
>>9434451
Not gonna lie, I love Star vs the Forces of evil and would wear the shit out of those. If the bow was better.
>>9434294
It's cheap lace, the yellow on the cross over part doesn't sit right and is bunching horribly. They grey tier has nothing to work off of from the rest of the garment. A layer of yellow with a black stripe would of looked better. Still bad but better.
>>9434475
Same but the bow looks like a misshapened burrito.
Not really cringe more like why. Was there some big tennis subplot in Sailor Moon I missed?
>>9434958
There had to be one episode where the girls go play tennis, right? Or I think one of the first battles took place at a tennis court.
Perhaps it's meant for someone who likes tennis and Sailor Moon. I agree though, why would someone actually package this together?
>>9435068
yeah, one of the episodes had a tennis (or at least sports) themed monster.
